Well, wish me luck! Today is my first official “training” day for K-Mart.
I feel so preppy. I have on slightly platformed brown shoes, black slacks, and a white collared shirt – in case you can’t tell from the cam picture, it’s a red shirt with white cuffs and collar. But then I kind of offset the preppiness with my make-up – glitter lipgloss, black eyeliner on top and bottom, going outwards at an angle at the corner of my eye, silver eyeshadow, mascara, and glitter over my eyelashes and eyelids. Dan can’t stop telling me how pretty I look. :cloudnine: Awww…

Hehe, have fun! :D Forgive me for saying, but that whole red shirt with a collar crap sounds shitty to me… I mean, we get uniforms at work that we have to wear, sure, and there’s a code for it, like “your tie should look neat” and “your shirt should be tucked in” and shit, but I’ve only once been asked to tuck my shirt back in when I was wearing in loose. And I also have the store manager’s blessing to dye my hair bright blue. He told us he don’t give a damn what we look like, as long as we wear our uniforms, don’t scare the customers away and treat them as we’d like to be treated. hard to believe he’s actually an asshole, eh? ;) This was a long comment. Gonna go away.
