Verizon sucks a big one. :irked: I had contacted them through their site and received an e-mail stating that their business hours were 9am-6pm M-F. So yesterday around 5:10pm I called – and was told by an automated message that their business hours were from 9am-5pm. Bastards! :bomb: So now I need to wait until Monday…

Anyway… we saw Chris last night. Ugh… what a mess. For starters, he wants to give back “most” – as in, keep $500 of the $1500. Um… why? We never moved in, so it’s not like we used any of the house. Furthermore, Daniel busted his ass and I helped too – we did a lot in that house. Took out hundreds of bags of garbage, cleaned out the downstairs bedroom, painted it, cleaned out the basement, helped stain, sand, etc. Daniel must have put in over 50 hours of work in that place, if not more, and I put in at least 30 hours. So, WTF? :rage: That aside, his wife, Heather, doesn’t want to give any. So… we’re going over there tonight to see if Chris got anything out of Heather – she’s the one holding the purse strings, and he’s basically stuck between a rock and a hard place. Daniel already knows that if we don’t get anything out of Chris, or if we only get $500 or so, we’re going to court over this. This is fucking bullshit. Argh. I’m so mad over this I can’t even think straight.
P.S. Speaking of money, yes, I am well aware that I owe a few people various amounts of money. However, until the above mess is straightened out, I have…let’s see…$5.08 to my name. I can’t make any promises as to when exactly I will be paying people back the amounts of money they’ve lent me, but it will be before the end of January. :sigh: What a mess everything is turning out to be… Now it’s even worse because the only reason we’re still here in Pittsburgh instead of in [private] with our families and working is because of Chris and Heather not handing over our money. ROAR. I’m about to strangle somebody.

awww honey that totally sucks! If I lived closer I’d come up and help ya kick some major booty. That definately needs taken to court… I swear so many people these days suck. grrrr *hug* That’s a whole lot of money and there’s no reason for them to think about keeping any of it – they should be paying you more for doing all that there! hope you get it all straightened out! verizon is annoying too, i have them for cell and used to have them for internet. we now use verizon (and still have them for our cell phones). comcast isn’t much better though LOL.

Well.. if you run out of money, and need hosting I just bought a reseller.. so I’ll try and help you! YOu should try and get ALL of that $1500 back.. $500 is a lot of money! Every thing will get better in the end.. And the work on the house will all be worth it
