Blah. For the past few days I’ve noticed my milk supply hasn’t been what it was before. :whimper: Before, my breasts would start leaking milk if I didn’t nurse/pump every three to four hours. Before, each time I’d pump I would get almost four ounces per breast. Until today, I was only getting about six ounces altogether (from both), and leakage? Absolutely none.
So… after the initial panic set in, I calmed down, since stressing myself out will only make things worse. I’ve been pumping and/or nursing every two-three hours, and trying to nurse Alyssa in between. I’ve also been drinking lots of fluids and ate my daily servings of meat (two helpings of steak and potato stew), vegetables (vegetable soup; carrots and celery from the steak and potato stew), and dairy (two glasses of milk, milk & butter that went into the macaroni and cheese). The only thing I missed was bread. Oops. :eyeroll: Well, I think that’s the least importance.
Gotta get the milk back!
Edited to add: The reason my supply went down is because for the past week (give or take a day or two) I’ve been busy running around doing things, and then sleeping for longer periods of time, so in essence I wasn’t pumping/nursing as much as I should have been. :sigh: I’m kicking myself right about now.

Good luck with the breast milk problem :sweat: I’ve never had breast milk before though (my mother had breast cancer before I was born, and she was worried that having anything from her berasts would transfer the cancer to me). I ah.. suuppose formula wouldn’t be so bad? I’m saying this from what my mom told me, so if you decide to take any advice from your commenters, skip mine xD
