All that pumping yesterday must have really knocked me out. ;) Psst… notice the sprawled out Blueboy on top of me? :heart: He’s been stuck to Daniel and I like glue ever since I took Toby to the humane league. Poor kitty. He either loves the attention that much, or he’s afraid he might be next! :haha:
Speaking of pumping… yesterday I pumped every two-three hours, drank lots of fluids, ate lots of good foods, and took 1500mg doses of fenugreek starting last night at 8:00pm, then this morning at 3:00am, 11:00am, and this evening at 7:00pm. At 3:30am this morning I pumped both breasts and managed to get about 3.5oz. This morning at 11:30am I pumped both breasts and about 5oz. This afternoon at 4:00pm I pumped and got about 6oz. Now I’m going to pump yet again and hope for an increase. 
Chances are, taking this fenugreek will really cause a huge increase in my milk supply. But, that’s okay. I want to freeze some of the milk, because it’s nice to know there’s a “reserve” that won’t go bad for quite a few months (once again, thank you Shannon for the storage bags! :hug:). :nod:

Hmm… that is a lot of pumping. I never liked the breast pump after giving birth and it did not matter since I stayed home and breastfed Angel. But he got formula only when we went out so I would not have to stop to feed.
I can say that it was total torture during that time while feeling them fill up….ouch.
Good luck with pumping…with the practice you should get better. Your breasts are on a timer like your baby, they know how much to produce according to what your baby is drinking. I can admit I have hand squeezed (I never had success pumping with a breast pump, but only when they filled so much and he was asleep) a bottle and a half of breast milk.
Have fun with your baby bundle of joy… I am sure every movement is so cute.. :D
Wow, that’s a lot of breastmilk! Do you have to pump that much because it hurts you too bad if you don’t? I’m not sure how this stuff works, so I’m very curious as to know why. LOL.
