To the woman in the Honda to insisted on riding up my ass:

I stopped in at Burger King :burger: to check my schedule. When I saw it I wanted to fall over. :shock: When I was in on Monday I told Dave that I just wanted to work two days a week, three max, and preferably not until 6:00pm. I don’t want to be away from Alyssa for long periods of time, especially because I’m breastfeeding. Well, here is my schedule (closing time is 11:00pm, then about another half an hour or so for cleaning up):
Sunday: 5:00-close
Monday: 5:00-close
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: 5:00-close
Thursday: 5:00-close
Friday: 5:00pm-close (closing is 7:00pm since it’s Christmas Eve :christmastree:)
Daniel doesn’t want me working all those hours either. In fact, he doesn’t want me working at all! 
In some ways I don’t want to work at all either, because I’d like to stay home and devote all of my time to Alyssa. :heart: However, I will enjoy getting out of the house and interacting with people again, and of course, a paycheck every two weeks is nice too. :cha-ching: I definitely need to talk to Dave and emphasize the need that I have to not work any more than two days/15 hours a week. Sheesh. :boggled:
I put Alyssa in her winter dress tonight. I plan on getting portraits of her done at JC Penneys, and then portraits of all three of us done at Wal-Mart. Yay for coupons! :haha:

Trust me. I tried to tell my boss about whats hours I wanted, and they dont listen. They have total disregard to your needs. And when it comes to working, they look at it like, if you need the job youll take whatever hours they give you, or you really dont need the job. i hate companies.

blah… that kind of stuff annoys me. One pet peeve of mine is simply watching the way prissy young women (who probably have a rich husband somewhere) act. I have seen (on more than one occassion) someone walking out of a door with heavy bags (or just simply walking out the door) and the women just let the door slam right in their faces without so much as a backward glance… There were also some parents of students at my high school like that (aka. sport and cheerleader moms) :blah:

Burger King should have no problem working only 2-3 days a week. They did that with me (Many years ago) and I have done that with other jobs. Their schedule for you is insane IMHO.

I work 9 hours a day 6 days a week. And I have 2 kids. Its not that bag. Just pump alot. Alyssa will thank you later for your sacrifice when you guys have money and she has everything she needs.

Boo to work schedules. I work Mon – Fri next week, though they’re mostly mid-shifts (like.. 9 – 5, or 11 – 6, etc) so that will be NICE. But don’t you hate it when you ask off or ask to work specific days and they schedule you around their schedule ANYWAY? Oh, and whenever I have someone riding my ass (ESPECIALLY since I’m usually going about 5MPH over anyway) I gradually go slower and slower until they get the message and back off. Either that, or they decide they’re hot shit and try flooring it past me in the middle turn lane, to which I promptly go back up to the speed limit and they have to go back behind me, anyway. :D

OH that picture/dress of alyssa is so gorgeous! Our town is so crappy we don’t have a potrait studio at JCPenny. We have Sears but it was all booked up and since we just got the baby I had to rush and find somewhere to at least get half way decent pics. The only place that would let me have an appointment was Olan Mills which is located in Kmart. It was not busy and the photogs were nice and good but I didn’t care for the backgrounds. I hope they turn out half way decent.
Anyways about the schedule you need to tell him you aren’t working that much. Hello you have a baby to feed! I think a couple days a week would be ideal. Are you gonna go back to school at all? You could definitely get some financial aid since you are married and have a baby. Look at me telling you what you should do…I just want to go back to school myself but I am too old to :haha:

i too had a recent experience with a “pushy” old lady. i was in line at the drug store and this old lady comes charging through the long line to the head of the counter, turns to the people in line and says very loudly and dramatically, “I’m late for a hair appointment!!” oh well, pardon ME then, ma’am! whatev.

I’m black I think that you could have said it in a more intelligent way then have it sounding like all black people that wear fubu and wear “bling bling” are irresponsible and “ignorant”. Don’t get me wrong, i love your site and visit it almost everyday and will continue to but i think you could have worded it better.
Can you tell me how my remarks were racist? The two guys I was talking about were indeed wearing fubu (the logo was plastered all over their shirts and down the one guy’s pant leg), they DID reek of cologne and both were flashing thick gold chains, bracelets and gold studs, and the one had a gold tooth.
