Before passing judgment on this post, read this.
A mother’s love is hearing your baby’s cries of pain, quickly discovering the source – constipation – and “assisting” with the softest, smallest baby spoon in the house and vaseline. And then, once Baby has been relieved, running to Wal-Mart at two in the morning for oral laxatives and suppositories (“topical” laxatives). All without blinking an eye or begrudging the “duty”.
I’m going to sleep now. ZzzZzzzZzzz…

Waitwaitwait… you did WHAT with the spoon?!
Her poor little butt was stretched wide open as a result of a huge lump of poop that was stuck half in and half out… I had to do something! And I distinctly remember my mother telling me that she did the same for me when I was around her age. So yeah… it was kind of like excavating… and it provided immediate relief for her! – Jenn
I’m sorry but that is gross. lol.
That DOES require love.
awww poor baby, i hope she feels better
Poor Alyssa
Awww.. make sure she eats some prunes or has a some prune juice to work her system back to normal.
Taylor just got over a stomach bug, so I’ve been trying to do the opposite. lol Lots of water and a little cheese here and there.
Hope Alyssa gets better!
Poor little girl. Seems very painful.
Poor babe
Prune juice!
Eww, but what has to be done, has to be done. I hope she feels better soon. Prune Juice, and lots of Bran (does’nt that make you poop?)
The things we do as parents heh I really dread any future vomitting issues which is so much worse in my gag reflex eyes than poop issues heh. YAY parenthood!
Yup, that’s true baby love right there. Excellant job Jenn!
omgah. wow.
Haha wow that’s graphic. That’s a mother’s love.
Aw the poor thing! Atleast you are not afraid to do what you have to do when she needed you… not fun either way but i dont think any thing like that is!? I hope Alyssa feels better!
Vitamin C!!!
Hello Jen,
Check your inbox, Ive replied about NoteBooksForFree.com situation!
Oh my.
Aww, poor Lissy. That is indeed mother’s love right there…
Poor baby
The things parents do, eh? Take care Jenn.
aww thats very sweet that you took the time to do that. Some people might have left her to get it on her own. She’s lucky to have ya as a mommy.
Hahaha, oh gosh. I can’t wait til I have my own.
Cute website !!!
yikes! wish i hadn’t read that..lol!! Prune juice also works, just depends if Alyssa likes that or not, i remember i didn’t. :p
Hey! Aw porr Alyssa! I guess we all take for granted what our parents did/do for us! Any way, I’m sorry I have to mention this in your comments but did you get my email? Becuase it’s been a while since I sent it. Thanks JOE
Man, it sucks when your little one is sick. Whenever my son Ian gets the flu..he projectile vomits. Usually on me.
My fiance has no idea how lucky he is to be at work at that point. Grr. ;P
Hope Alyssa gets well. :D
A bit TMI for me, but poor kiddo. =[
Mmmm well done…
WOW, I do hope you called Alyssa’s pediatrician before performing this act. It’s very unsafe and can cause even more constipation and tearing.
Wow. Poor kid. All I can say is wow and tmi
I’ve tried twice to join Lavish. Neither time have an activation code been sent to my email addresses (both comcast emails). I’ve tried looking on the boards for help, but it’s set where even the rules you cannot read without being a member–so nothing is helping me since I cannot log into my account. Just letting you know– I don’t know if there’s some sort of issue with comcast emails or something. Thanks!
ooh… poor baby. cute story
love the layout spesh the colours
Aww…poor kid. That’s disgusting, but still, you had to do what you had to do.
Oh my gosh, poor you! But that IS love. Reminds me of the Garden State bit, which is not exactly amounting to the same grossness right now, but he tells a story of when he was younger and he was crying his heart out. So his Mom picks him up and he’s just got snot all over his face and she lets him wipe it on her shirt. And then he says, “And you know, THATS love.” Cute.
Woah. Being a mommy seems like hard work. Well, okay, I kne that already. But I didn’t realize you had to do stuff like THAT.
Cheers to the moms of the world.
Well, good moms, I guess.
Awww…I hope she feels better. :-)
Oh yes, that is love. That is love indeed. I certianly hope she’s feeling better.
that… did not sound right…
