This is my 2000th post. How cool is that? :D

I ♥ my job. I get paid a ridiculous amount of money to be an office chick. I have a desk, a computer, a break room in our office (which, by the way, can only be accessed by certain people – aka the owner, the supervisor, and four or five of us underlings), and a phone. It’s great. Yeah, the vagueness doesn’t do very well for describing how well my job rocks, but tough… there are certain pedophiles people obsessed with women in their late teens and early twenties that put me off from going into too much detail. Sorry, but I value privacy and unthreatened employment. Suffice it to say, the job rocks.

PARENTS: I know this is common sense, but please, please, please, don’t leave your children unattended in stores. Last night I was at Wal-Mart with my ten year old brother, wandering through the toy section looking for a birthday present for my other brother (I finally settled on a Spongebob lounge chair). Brother was in an aisle with me, and as I was checking out a few toys, he went into the next aisle. About a minute later, I realized he was gone and went after him.
Brother was standing at the end of the aisle, facing towards me, oblivious to all surroundings as he studied a toy on a shelf. Directly behind him was a man who had his arms out as if he was about to grab my brother. I immediately yelled, “Hey!” and ran down that damn aisle, yelling at my brother to come over to me right away. As soon as the creep saw me he took off. I thought about contacting security, but I figured that by the time I’d track down an employee and get in touch with security, the would be kid-snatcher would be gone. God, that was scary…
So please, please please please, keep your kids in your sight at all times! You just never know…

So it’s the end of the year. Wow. Christmas snuck up on me, and before I knew it, New Years Eve was here. Wow. It seriously smacked me in the face. Yesterday I was like, “Wow, 2006 will be here on Sunday? Why wasn’t I informed?!” Yeah… so we’re not doing too much tonight. We’re celebrating my seven eight year old brother’s birthday, complete with a Thomas the Tank Engine themed birthday party – right down to the Thomas themed cake (which I did myself, thank you).
New Years Eve is kind of wrapped into that. Once my mother, grandfather and husband get here, we’ll eat pizza, have cake, do the presents routine, then park our butts in the living room and wait for the ball to drop. Normally hubby and I bring in the new year with sex. Hmm, I guess that’s out for this year. Oh well. *shrug*

It’s time for an epiphany. Yeah, I’m sure you’re all thrilled. Well… the internet bores me. Seriously. It’s no longer OMG BLOG! LAYOUT! MESSAGE BOARD! CLIQUES! PORTALS!!!111 It’s more like, eh… when I do hit the internet, after checking e-mail, Lavish and the dailies (I’m sorry guys, I’m getting really bad at commenting, aren’t I?), I wander aimlessly through LJ communities. The boredom… it’s unreal.
But maybe that’s a good thing, you know?

Anyway, I’m off. It sounds like the living room is being destroyed, and Alyssa is being too quiet for my liking. Later!

Happy Birthday (to your bro) and Happy New Year!!!

I remember a time when my brother walked home without me and I went home crying because I thought he got kidnapped. It is very scary. x.X

The internet is boring. I have 3 domains and all 3 are dead because I don’t like being online as much as I used too.

You should have told security anyway. As he didn’t succeed with your brother, he’ll probably go back and try again.

I know what you mean! The internet really has lost it’s touch LOL! I used to panic whenever it stopped working or something, now I couldn’t give a damn… only thing I use it for is to look at a few dailies and to chat to the bf.

WOW that stuff with your bro is scary! :|

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you Daniel, Alyssa and little baby! xx

It is a good thing. The internet can be such a very bad thing, especially when you have a family. Im glad i don’t come online like i use to. I come, i blog, i goto lavish, check a few sites, and im done.

As for the child snatcher, oh, so scarey. My husband and i do not EVER let them out of our site. We always make our 4 year old hold our hand, and don’t ever take our eyes off him. Which actually makes shopping suck because i focus on him (baby in carriage) and i can’t focus on shopping, what i need, good deals, etc.

We tend to get our parents to babysit when we have to go out shopping.

I’m kinda bored with the internets myself. It’s email, site, boards… and then I’m done. lol
