Daniel and I went grocery shopping today (how sad is it that we have fun grocery shopping? But then, it is a family outing), and we came home to a rather large box sitting on our patio…

- 3 gHz processor
- 1 gig ram
- 80 gig harddrive
- CD-R/RW & DVD R/RW drive
- Wi-fi*
Do you know how awesome it is to turn on your laptop and have it automatically find the wireless-ready router and prompt you to connect to the network?
So there you have it. Gratis is legit (iPod, May 2005), and OfferCentric is definitely legit (laptop, February 2006). If you have account(s) with either, I encourage you to go ahead and work at getting a product! As long as you don’t break the rules (the big one being signing up for multiple accounts), you’re good to go. It may take you a bit (it took me three weeks to get my ipod vs. nine months to get my laptop), but you’ll get it! And hey, anything worth this much money is worth waiting for!
In other news, I had an OB appointment this morning. We have the gender-determining (provided that the baby is in the right position!) ultrasound scheduled for the morning of March 7th. The protein in my urine is a little high (no surprise there), I’ve gained one pound since my appointment four weeks ago, the baby is measuring about two finger widths beneath my belly button (and can definitely be felt from the outside!), and my due date has been changed to July 22, 2006 (basically moving me back a week).
Alyssa had the stitches removed from her finger yesterday night, and it’s been healing nicely.
So anyway… ? Happy Valentine’s Day! ? I really wanted to get cards out (even e-cards!), but with being busy with working and juggling family, errands, appointments and sleep, I never got to it. I’m sorry. :/ But it’s the thought that counts, right? Right!

That’s awesome, Jenn! I might just go do that, but I’m not sure about it….but now I know it’s definitely legit.
Congrats, and have fun with your new toy!
That is so awesome about the laptop. I’ve signed up for it but can’t get any referrals, not even in return for doing one for someone else. I saw no point in even trying if no one would help me out.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I love new site, too.
Ahh, I forgot to mention that! It comes with a phone line (useless, since dial-up is a thing of the past!), AC power adapter, battery, back-up/recovery CDs, and a digital media card that’s really an adapter for certain types of memory cards that are too small to fit into the regular slots.
The only accessory I really need to buy ASAP is some sort of carrying case and pack, and I’m debating on a screen protector. So far Alssya is interested in looking, but I still have fears of damaged pixels!
Happy valentine’s day! ♥
I hope your OB appointment went well, and I can’t wait to find out what Gummi Bear is!! I’m so excited
You are a real Gemini, changing your mind so quickly and often. It’s kinda funny. Happy V-Day and congratulations on the laptop! It’s almost the same as mine, just a few numbers higher. The OfferCentric and Gratis links you provided don’t seem right. Gratis is in German, and OC denies directory listing.
Oh woah, that is one beautiful laptop
Congrats on getting it! What a great surprise.
Hope you had a Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m glad that all is well with ‘Gummi Bear’
Wow, congrats on the laptop!!!!! And you got it on Valentines Day too! Something big like that is definetly worth the wait. Oh, can’t wait to see what the new baby is gonna be! July 22nd, 06 is my hubby and I’s 3 year anniversary!!!
Happy Valentines Day!!!!!
Wow, what a fantastic St. Valentines Day Gift! I bet you’re going to be very attached to it, and protective of it. My boyfriend thinks I’m odd because I call my laptop by it’s name Colin and want him to wash his hands before he touches it. :-p
Looking forward to hearing of the sex of the new baby.. xox
Woah! Happy Valentines to you! I am wanting to sign up for it, but will have to wait until Im in the UK – as i doubt they will ship to NZ. Good luck with the ultrasound and I hope the baby is in the right position! Im guessing its a boy
Take care.

Happy belated Valentinesday.
Congratulations with the new labtop. It looks really cool.
My baby refused to let us know the gender (I am due 1st June – so we are up for a surprice). Have fun at the ultrasound – I love those.
That’s awesome that they actually sent you a laptop even though it took some work. It’s so awesome to be able to sit in bed, watch tv and surf the web.
I’ve sold a good deal of those laptops at work. The only downside is having a Pentium 4 you get about 1 1/2 – 2 hours of battery life, as opposed to 4+ (pending what applications you’re running) with a Celeron M or Centrino processor (though it takes the speed down to a 1.67-1.87, however it’s not that noticable when you’ve got a decent size of memory.)
Congrats on getting the laptop. I’d only ever get a laptop if it was 17″ (with xbrite or truebrite) and had a keypad with an AMD Turion 64. haha, otherwise i hate laptops.

Happy Vday! Does it come with everything or do you have to buy accessories?
