Every night before we go to bed we spend some time cuddling and talking. Also, Daniel puts his arm across my stomach so that his hand and wrist are right on top of the baby. He first felt the baby last week, and since then has felt a few movements. Last night was no different – we were laying there talking, and suddenly the baby kicked/pushed. In the hopes that he/she would do it again, I pressed my hand against my belly. We waited.
The baby turned and squirmed around, and Daniel felt the ripples and flutterings against his hand. Then I felt a strong kick/push – only this time it was into my spine! The feeling was weird. It made me twitch!
My blessed three days off are over. Now I work straight through until Sunday. Blech. Daniel, on the other hand, had yesterday, today and tomorrow off. Oh well, we’re each entitled to our X amount of days per week. And at least Alyssa will be spending lots of time at home and with her Mommy and/or Daddy. Don’t get me wrong, my mother and brothers are wonderful with her, and Alyssa loves going over there, but it’s still nice to be at home. ♥

That is great that Alyssa will be spending more time at home, I’m sure that she really enjoys it, as she does’nt have to travel back and forth, figure out where she is going/is etc.. Too bad your days off arnt along side Daniel, and that you actually work weekends.
So I hadn’t been by your site in several days and when I saw I had a comment from “Jenn” at xoxo.nu, I was like “who the heck is that?!” Obvioulsy I’ve figured it out now. lol. Anyway, it’s awesome that you and Daniel both get a good amount of time off, because there’s nothing like being able to be home with the fam.

That’s such an amazing thing, isn’t it? It’s moments like that that make me wish I was pregnant all over again.
I’m really trying to enjoy every little moment of this pregnancy, since it may very well be my last – two children is our limit at this point in our life.

I was so excited when Tyler was going to be on day shift because I envisioned us having time to just lie there and talk and cuddle, but he goes to bed early and I’m up with Jonathan late … and we’re still on different schedules.

Aww, that sounds so exciting. One day I’m going to be excited to feel the same thing but until then… I’ll enjoy listening to other people discuss it.
