Whoo yeah.

Jessie posted about this really neat thing called a Johari Window.

The Johari Window was invented by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingram in the 1950s as a model for mapping personality awareness. By describing yourself from a fixed list of adjectives, then asking your friends and colleagues to describe you from the same list, a grid of overlap and difference can be built up.

I think it’s pretty neat. Feel free to tell me what you think of me!

In other news…

So, wow me. What did everyone do for Valentine’s Day?

I think that Johari Window thing is awesome!

    Happy Late Valentine’s Day!

Eh, no boyfriend = no fun =/

That’s an awesome deal. I’m sooooooo envious. I really want a laptop but I don’t have the cash to fork over for something like that. *le sigh* Oh well I suppose. Eventually if I keep working my tail off… Anyways, vday was boring because I was up at school and not home with my boy. :-\

I wonder why there is almost no info on it on the web.

Thanks for commenting to see if I’m okay. I appreciate it. I didn’t even know you frequented my site :)
Everything is find, just taking a bit of a break from the internet. Weight watchers, while it is working quite well thus far, is taking a lot out of me. My body’s not quite used to the drastically reduced calories so I’m exhausted most of the day.

Anyhow, so cool that you got your laptop! I would have done an offer but Joe won’t let me because I ALWAYS forget to cancel.
Valentines day=boring for us because our car broke down and any extra money went to towing/repairing. It’s all good though :)

    No info about what?

Er… if you’re refering to the laptop, that would be because it’s customized, I suppose. This happens a lot – a lot of major computer companies release custom laptops/desktops for different online companies and stores (think Amazon, or Costco, or BJs).
If you’ll look at the screenshot, you’ll see a little key word there: customize. That’s what this laptop obviously is… which is more than fine by me. :)

  7. I did that Johari thing for you, though I have no idea how it actually works, so I didn’t make my own. *shrugs*
I might end up needing you to help me with the uhhh text counter thing. I got it working so I can check the stats, but I want it to show on my sidebar like yours. I’ve taken so many percocets in the last few days that I can’t tell my left from right, much less figure out how to code anything correctly. I suppose I can wait until my brain stem reattaches itself, but if you get ANY opportunity in the meantime, you can maybe just give me the code that you used to make it show and I can alter it for meee? I dunno. Let me know. :P
Btw, that hairband trick totally WORKS. I use it when I eat too much. :X

That johari thing has been going around and it’s really neat :D
Sweet deal with the notebook! Congrats on being able to win one! :D
Valentine’s wasn’t too exciting, just went to a quaint Italian resturant close to my home with a good male friend of mine, and walked around the neighbouhood for a bit. :)

  9. Okay I forgot to mention, I haven’t been able to access Lavish in two days because I changed my e-mail address and it says something about how you have to re-verify my account now? It’s making me said.. I miss Lavish. :(

  10. Thank you for the link

I’m so excited for you and your pregnancy! Your little one is really making him/herself known, and is leaving quite an impression – pushing you out of your jeans and making you adjust your clothing. It’s such a miracle, you’re blessed. I hope the heartburn gets better, by the way – it’s an awful thing to have.

On a less cheery note, my valentines day was less than perfect. I have been battling Bronchitis for the last 2 weeks and had to cancel my plans to take my boyfriend out to see a movie in an outdoor cinema under the stars because I had a raging temperature. The poor thing spent the evening looking after me and feeding me toast, instead. Not exactly romantic, but very sweet. Being in love rocks, as I’m sure you’re fully aware.

Still can’t believe how lucky you are to have that laptop.. Go girl!

mine is customized too and i got it in Nov 2005 for thanksgiving. it is a ze2000t HP pavilion laptop. i customized it to how i wanted it and duh it is better customized.

i think Jenn got a great deal with her laptop, that one is probably the best one they have in the series because the higher the number (8) the better it is. oh and mine costs 1049.00 after rebates.
