A Day in the Life…

(Thank you to Ashley for this wonderful idea!)

This is a rather image-heavy entry, hence the cut. Enjoy!

Waking up. Blah… just a little longer?

Brushing my teeth without vomiting. Yay for refusing morning sickness!

Mmm, shower. I could spend hours in here…

Blueboy is ready and waiting for his daily feeding of kitty goodness (aka Fancy Feast).

Time to get myself a little something. I take my prenatal vitamins around now as well.

While waiting for Alyssa to wake up, check e-mail, sites, LJ communities, etc.

She’s up! Time to get her teeth brushed, get her bathed, and get her dressed and ready for the day.

Alyssa’s breakfast. She works on a bottle of milk before and after this.

Clean up! Do dishes, gather trash, put things away, etc.

Time to get Alyssa packed and ready to take over to my mother’s house. Whoever works later (usually Daniel, sometimes me if he does a midshift) takes Alyssa to her grandmother’s house.

A nice eight hour shift at work. Blah.

As soon as I get home, I make a beeline for the bedroom so I can change into my uber-comfy (and stretchy!) pajama pants, paired with oversized top or maternity shirt.

If Alyssa isn’t in bed yet (only when I’m picking her up after work is she still up; otherwise she’s down by 10:30pm), play with her for a few minutes, then get her changed into PJs and into bed.

Time to bond with my darling husband.

Watch a little TV…

Surf a little internet…

Read a few chapters, and then it’s off to lala land!

That’s such a great idea! Much more interesting than the long, wordy blogs. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Alyssa is so adorable!

cool idea, I’m going to do that.

  9. That is a really cute idea, a day and a life type thing. Fancy Feast Catfood is terrible. Have you actually read the ingredients in the can? … Iron Oxide is another word for Rust (the same rust you find on your car)

you’re going to get your daughter a convertible seat soon.. right? I don’t want to be an ass, but she’s way too big that infant carrier. Even if she’s not 20 lbs (isn’t she at over a year?!), her head looks to be more than an inch from the top of the carrier. My children grew out of theirs at 4 months.

Anyway, again.. not trying to be mean though I’m sure you’ll take it that way. Car seat safety is something that is very important to me.

No worries. We have a regular full size carseat in the “family” vehicle. The only reason we’re still using the infant seat in my car is because the car seat I want for her is out of stock at the stores that carry it. I wound up ordering it online Friday evening, so it’ll be here by Tuesday. Even though she’s over a year, she’s only 21 lbs. Amazing, eh? -Jenn

^ Taylor’s only around 21-22 lbs, too! I’ll find out for sure on Tuesday.

I have been meaning to do the DITL thing.. but I forgot to yesterday.. aaaaah well. Maybe today or Tuesday.

It seems almost everyone eats a similar cereal; mine’ll be Life.

This is a neat idea. All of your family looks so sweet. No offense to the husband – but the your baby girl looks simply gorgeous.

Thank you so much for your comment. I have heard that it is only us danes who uses the prams for outdoor sleeping – I might be wrong though.

It is great to read other pregnant womens blogs – especially the ones who allready have kids – I have learned alot from it allready (I hope).
