Because I can.

In light of recent events, I think I’ll devote a blog to babbling on about all the shit people say they can’t stand me talking about. Ready?

Kids
Alyssa loves to dance to any kind of music – ringtones, commercials, rolling credits, songs on the radio, etc. She dances to stuff that most people couldn’t even think of dancing to. She also screeches, “ew!” every single time she happens to walk in on Daniel while he’s in the bathroom. But that’s usually after she grabs some toilet paper from the roll and attempts to “wipe” his thigh.
She also tells us, “Love you!” and “Ink you!”.

Breastfeeding
Ryan loves the boob. He grins and laughs right before latching on, then lets out contented sighs while nursing. I can also squirt milk. I can shoot a steady stream across our queen-sized bed. I can do pretty arcs, too. Now if I could just do loops. That would be impressive.
I still wake up in puddles in the morning, and let me tell you, there’s nothing like waking up after rolling over into a cold, sticky, wet puddle. Pfft.

My Boobs
Did I mention that during the duration of pre-pregnancy, pregnancy-with-Alyssa, nursing-Alyssa, done-nursing, pregnant-with-Ryan and nursing-Ryan they’ve gone from DD to G to DDD to DD and back up to DDD again. I break out of underwires like there’s no tomorrow (so for the time being, I’ve given up on them).
At the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire I tried on a bodice and then a corset. Hot stuff, let me tell you. There’s nothing like having the girls pushed up to my throat and jutting outwards. Heads up, people – let’s not lose an eye now!

Sex (you knew this was coming!)
I love sex. We have sex probably three times a week. I think that’s pretty fucking (pun intended) spectacular, considering his hours (45-50 per week, plus driving time) and me caring for a large house, a toddler, a breastfed infant, and still not getting a full night’s sleep each night. I’m also anemic, which doesn’t help because it brings on excess fatigue (or more commonly referred to as laziness).
So yes, sex is good. Last night was good. We had a quick round of “I’m really, really tired and can barely keep my eyes open but damn I’m horny so let’s fuck really quick and then pass out” sex. Yummy.

Okay… did I cover all the bases? I don’t want to miss anything! Let’s see…
Kids: Check!
Breastfeeding: Check!
Breasts: Check!
Sex: Check!
Pissing off all of the people who claim to hate me yet can’t seem to stay away: CHECK!

;)

Haha nice entry Jenn! You know, I was just thinkin that you should write a post like this. Seriously, don’t let these losers who don’t know how to click the red “X” at the top of their screen bring you down. Like everyone has already said, this is your site post whatever the hell you want! *thumbs up*

That is really hilarious. I began reading (well skimming) in the middle of your post and stopped cold, thought to myself, why the fuck is she writing about this kinda stuff? Then i started from the top and I understood :) Haha. I find it amusing regardless. And for that reason I’ve linked you at the bottom of my site! I like to read entertaining stuff like that. SO by all means, continue to recoil us with your gross-out TMI…ness…

  5. Humm… interesting. You rock, now stop out all that extra attention to those who do not deserve it. :)

I always enjoy reading about children, what they do, what they say etc. Could just be my love of Child Psychology and just learning about child development. All children are differnt.

heee!! honestly, who cares on whatever topic it is you write about. anything you write is an interesting read, and if its something that’s typically boring you make it sound interesting.

Tragically, one of the downsides of the internet publishing era is that people use it for negative things. Hate communities, hate websites, hatelistings – it seems like a huge waste of energy; why not spend time doing something you love and enjoy? :shakes head:

However, I’ve been reading your blog pretty much since you had Alyssa, and I really enjoy hearing about everything – your life, family, pets. Ignore the asshats, and hope that some of the visitors to that ridiculous site come here and realise what an awesome, genuine person you are :)

This entry made me sad! I think it’s so unfair that you can breast squirt so much further than me!

This post literally made me laugh out loud. The last “check” cracks me up. Good for you for standing up for yourself. It’s stupid that you even have to.
