More portraits here. Alyssa was not very cooperative, and Ryan wasn’t too happy, so we’re going to take them back next week and hope for better shots.

    I think the pictures are great. I know how hard it can be to catch a perfect picture when the little ones are moody. For each 1 good picture I find showable – around 20 pictures have been taken.

    The pea costume fit’s him perfectly – I wish we could buy so cool premade costumes over here – but I guess I will have to make it myself *arggh for the lack of craftyness*

    The pictures are adorable! Especially the one of him smiling.. too cute! I wanted to comment on your previous entry. Dont feel like you need to explain thing to the haters. Best thing to do is to not acknowledge them. They want you to respond to their hate! I understand you wanted to vent and defend the things you have done. But no need to. No one is perfect. We can only do our best. I cant stand all the hate that goes around on the internet. Its not only your site. Without mentioning names, there are a few other sites that get the same scrutiny yours does. I just dont get it. How courageous of these people to sit behind their computers and say hateful things about others. They must be so unhappy with themselves.

    And I’m sorry, but I had to say something about your last post — STOP IT. Stop giving in to the other people. Do you know why you’re an easy target? Because you give in to it all – your respond, you react. You give them exactly what they’re looking for and give them more things to bitch about by responding to it.

    No two parents will have the same parenting style and so what. I’m a damn lazy mom, so Aine’s just always with me, because it’s easier that way. I don’t take her to babysitters, because that would require pumping and pumping is a much bigger pain in the arse than a fussy baby. I never once pre-washed her outfits in baby soap. I boil her baby stuff maybe once every other week during a good month, blah, blah, blah… Point is, at the end of the day, she is my world, she’s happy as hell, she’s overly laid back, and so she and I are both happy. Who’s to tell me to parent differently if what I’m doing right now is working, the doctors are overly happy with her progress and weight gain, etc.

    And of course moms are going to blog about their children – they are their world. *shrugs*
