We took Girl Child trick or treating at a local shopping center Monday evening. At first she looked a little uncertain, clutching Daddy's fingers with one hand and her pumpkin bucket with the other. But once she saw some other children walk up the the dressed-up adults and come away with candy, she followed suit. By the third store she was doing it like a pro.
And once we got back to the car and checked over her candy and then made the mistake of handing her bucket back to her, she was in heaven. So much chocolate to eat!
She was bouncing off the walls last night.
And bounced right out of bed this morning and ran squealing into our bedroom, then down the hall and into the living room and back again. Rinse and repeat for two hours.
I was ready to cry.
