I upgraded my Logitech quickcam software to the newest version. This was a few days ago. Everything is peachy, until today, when I decide to try out the “privacy shade” feature. Cue BSoD and crash. I boot the laptop back up. It crashes right after turning on. Rinse, repeat three times. Then it boots up to the start screen… then a glimpse of a BSoD before it crashes again.
Dammit. I have a week’s worth of photos on there (including Thanksgiving!) that I do not want to lose. Argh. I’ll let the laptop sit for a bit, then try again. If it comes down to it I’ll do a System Restore, even though I hate those…
Meanwhile, I’m check out AIM 6.0. I really like the linked screen names feature. I have a few screen names back from the early 00′s that I just “linked” to my current screen name, girlsaysmwah. Very nifty.
I’m so tired… it’s Sunday. Sunday is my normal sleep-in day. However, Boy Child was in bed by midnight, and Husband talked my ear off until almost 4am. When Boy Child woke at 9am I wanted to cry. Instead I stumbled out of bed, grabbed Boy Child, did a diaper change, brought him back to bed with me, fed him and sort of dozed while doing it, then woke myself up with a dose of DayQuil and a quick shower.
Now I’m sitting here biding my time, waiting until Husband wakes up so I can turn the kids over to him and take a much needed nap. ZzzZzzZzz.
