Christmas shopping was So. Much. Fun. The kidlets stayed with Grandmom (here at our house, as things are more kid proof, all their supplies are here, yadda yadda yadda), so Daniel and I got to have a day entirely to ourselves. It was wonderful being able to get out without lugging kids and diaper bags and slings with us. It was awesome to be in the car and turn up the music loud. It was wonderful to jump from car to store without spending five minutes unloading small children and their stuff. No shoe tying, pacifier finding, snack doling, cup refilling, baby or boob juggling. Just us! Holding hands, goofing aroung, giggling, sneaking quick kisses, sneak attack butt grabs, leading one another around the stores, etc. Just us! Only us!
(Can you tell I enjoyed the nearly forgotten experience?)
Anyway. We hit up one mall and four stores in approximately eight hours. We also blew over $600 (this is me wincing). But oh, the presents…

See that blue (with white snowflakes) bag? It’s my uber top secret “you’re going to love it!” Christmas present that Daniel is tormenting me about.
My feet hurt. My whole entire stomach area hurts. Too much walking, I think. If the burning and twinging I’ve been experiencing for the past few hours gets any worse I’d be very tempted to pop a percocet. I just hope that a good night’s sleep (something I plan to get started on very, very soon) will take care of it. If not, pfft, I may just spend tomorrow in bed.

It’s in a gift bag. Peek! Peek! What did you get for the kids?
