I apologize for the depressing nature of the last post. It was something I needed to get out, to get out of my head and onto something I can see. Now I feel better. Thank you for your kind words (Amanda, Ashley). It means a lot. It’s good to be able to voice my grief, even if it isn’t in verbal form.
Now to a good spirit lifter: only six days until Christmas! We about killed ourselves off last weekend – a good eight hours of shopping on Friday, tree shopping and decorating on Saturday (we amused the truck owning rednecks when we wrestled a Christmas tree into the trunk of our car), then cleaning on Sunday.
The house is decorated, the cards have been mailed out, the tree is decorated, and all of our gifts are wrapped and piled up under it.
Pooped after two days of shopping, decorating and cleaning.

This month has gone by so quickly, and I can’t wait for Christmas!
I still have quite a bit of shopping left to do, but we have to wait until payday ’cause we broke from J’s party. Not only that, gas has gone up to .99/litre because of a fire at an oil refinery a few hours from here, yay.

How is Alyssa with the presents? We haven’t put any of the ones we’ve wrapped yet, because I’m afraid of Jordan ripping them open when we’re not looking.
Yay Christmas! It’s strange how just getting something OUT makes it feel better. I’m like that too.
I cannot wait to see pictures of your Christmas. Alyssa is finally old enough to get into the ripping paper and excitement. I think it’s going to be a fun year at your house.
