My best friend throughout elementary school and during the first half of sixth grade was a nice Jewish boy named Todd Richards. He was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw this Jewish Dating Site. Honestly, the idea of a dating site that is so specific (or maybe I’m just rubbed wrong by the idea of a dating site that excludes non-Jews, or at least those who aren’t interested in Jews?), is a bit off-putting. And since I’m not Jewish and don’t plan on being Jewish, nor would I ever choose a future mate based on religion, I’m definitely put off.
But, personal feelings aside, the site itself is nice. Unlike other dating sites, the layout of jsingles.com is very neat, very simple. I love clean line designs, and the design of this site definitely falls into the category of clean. Hmm. Clean… nice Jewish boys. See? There I go again.
But really, I like the look of the site. The navigation is clearly laid out. The member of the moment (under the heading “Take A Gamble”) is a nice touch. The fact that the site is free is also a definite plus! A quick glance through some member profiles gives me plenty to know about a member without even having to contact them. This is definitely a good thing. And again, the site being free – and advertised right off the bat as free – is excellent.

Well, be glad that Mel Gibson wouldn’t be found on that site. ^_^
I can see the point of a Jewish dating site. In some religions, it is very important to make sure it stays in the family. My BF is Buddist and his parents *HATE* the fact that he’s dating a non-Buddist.
