Joint problems

Since 2002 my mother’s health has really gone downhill. She has full blown diabetes, neuropathy, chronic pain, has had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands/wrists, and has been experiencing a lot of Joint Pain. Now that she has switched to better health insurance, she is looking into getting in touch with a orthopaedic specialist to see what can be done.

Unfortunately, there is the possibility that she will continue to have joint pain unless she decides to undergo surgery to repair or replace the joint. This is where a board-certified surgeon like Dr. Allen Gustafson would come into play. Dr. Gustafson is the director and founder of Gustafson Orthopaedics, and specializes in joint reconstructions and replacements. He is renowned for his experience, skill and many accomplishments, and together with his staff can provide patients with thorough evaluations and diagnosis, effective treatments, education and resources, and if needed, surgery to repair or replace the affected joint(s). If surgery is necessary, there is also a complete recovery program for the patient to follow.

After reading more on Dr. Gustafson’s website, gustafsonortho.com, I think I’m going to recommend him to my mother.

Ohhh, your poor mom. That’s a lot for her body to take :( Hopefully she gets some sort of relief soon.

  3. Osteo Bi-Flex is an awesome OTC suppliment. It sounds like her problems are a little beyond that but would probably help a lot.

Oh I know how hard joint pain is to live with. One of my relatives has had horrible pain for quite some time but is too scared to get surgery. I hope your mother is able to feel better soon.
