I got the estimate for the replacement of the kitchen floor – $500 – $600. I called up the company this morning and informed them that I will be expecting this to be taken care of promptly. The manager actually asked me, “Would it be okay for our guys to come out and repair it?” I had to bite my tongue to stop myself from retorting angrily. Instead, I patiently explained again that this type of flooring, due to being vinyl and one piece, cannot be repaired. It has to be replaced. I could hear him cringing as he asked how much the replacement would cost. I told him, and he asked me to drop off the estimate and the flooring company’s contact information for him to pass on to his manager. Hopefully I won’t get a runaround from these guys. I just want my damn floor fixed!!! (Or, alternatively, the washer and dryer for free. 
)
It dawned on me last night that I really live in the boonies. I had to drive thirty miles round trip just to pick up a Papa John’s pizza!
I’m so in love with this layout. It’s simplistic, yes, but it features everything I want and isn’t too cluttered. I may release it as a plain, simple wordpress theme that would be easy to modify and add on to. Would anyone actually use it?
Thanks for the remarks about the times on the comments being the same. Silly me. I was using the_time for the comments template instead of comment_time. I don’t know how I missed that… but obviously I did!
I’m out of boxes again. It took three boxes just to pack up the crap on, in and around Dan’s desk. I still have my desk and the kitchen. Then we’re pretty much done… three days ’til moving day!!!
I bet they’ll be extra careful next time they install an appliance. I’d use this template, it’s simple and functional. I’m currently trying to get rid of clutter on my site as well as making it load faster without removing all of my revenue goodies.
I decluttered my desk today too. OMG, there was so much junk!

Could they not have delivered the pizza? Or is out of their “delivery range”?We order ours from online. Of course, our nearest one is only a 5 min drive.
We live in a small town that has a pizza shop so we usually just get it there. However, the place we like our pizza from is probably 20 miles away and they won’t deliver to us. They are very weird about that stuff. We can get Dominoes delivered but nothing else. The local pizza place is home owned. So we also have to drive to get it if we want something different and it’s like I’d rather pay them a fee for gas myself.
OH and I’d use the layout. Lots of people would use this. Of course we’d all get creative with the header, but it’s hard to find a good simple wordpress theme.

Their limit is eight miles, I think. We’re almost double that (one way).
Ranee – we do have one small local shop that will deliver. But Dan, pizza snob that he is, turns his nose up at their pizza (but goes hog wild over their cheese steaks).
Oooo I hope they replace it for you okay. If not, just go to the store if you have to and raise a fit :x.
And release it :D! I released mine and I was surprised just how many people downloaded it. It’s really hard to find nice, bare bones designs anymore. They’re all cluttered and graphic heavy and hard to personalize now it seems.
