Classified ads are a great way to sell and buy things, and to find services. I have used classifieds to find pets (a pug for my mother, a persian cat, etc.), to sell things, and to obtain merchandise and even services – such as the central air conditioning that we’ve applied for a loan to cover (I hope we get it; otherwise we’ll be searching the classifieds for used air conditioners!).
Classified type ads are also great for getting rid of stuff – that’s what sites like craigslist.org and freecycle.org are all about and what they’re based on.
