When Dan and I lived in Pittsburgh we spent a lot of our free time playing poker. We taught our friends, Dave and TJ, and would spend Friday nights at their house. At one point we had two other guys in the group with us, and one of my female friends was up visiting, and one thing led to another, and, well, we wound up playing strip poker. Fun times. ;)
Now that we’re settling down into a routine and the kids are going to sleep at night, Dan and I tossed around the idea of having a game night each week, and inviting his brothers and a few of my friends to play. Unfortunately, we may have to hold off on that, as our game set got lost during the move from Pittsburgh to [private], or during one of the moves within [private].
I have my eye on the player level poker mania package at executivegamingmonthly.com. It has everything we would need to get started with playing poker, and it isn’t too pricey.
I can already envision my mother wanting to get the player level blackjack package, as she loves blackjack, but never had a decent set of her own to play with.
There are plenty of other home game packages available, but my specific interest is poker.
