The flooring company called yesterday evening to apologize for the delay in getting back to me. Yesterday marked two weeks since they came out to do the estimate of replacing my kitchen floor, which I then took to the company that delivered the washer and dryer and tore up my kitchen floor initially.
The delay was due to the company that damaged my floor. They argued over the cost of the replacement. Then they said, okay, we’ll pay, but you need to do the work first. Needless to say, the flooring company said no way, we’re not paying for the materials and labor out of pocket, and neither is the customer (me), so you need to pay. They went back and forth. Finally, the shit hole little company agreed to pay the flooring company everything up front.
This flooring company delivered a bunch of samples to us this morning, and after picking out several “What do you think of this?” and “I really like that!”, we chose this one:

I really love that and it’s neutral so you can put anything with it and it will be fine. That’s sort of what I’m going to go for when I put my new floor down. And all this talk from you about flooring and my husband just started to talk about carpet this afternoon, I’ve got spring fever and am ready for something!
And you know what? That flooring company was good to go at it with them. Usually they’d just say not our problem but it sounds like they are good.
Ooh that’s beautiful! The good thing is that it’s relatively neutral so you don’t have to worry about clashing if you decide to redecorate later on down the road. Very nice!
I agree with Ranee about the flooring company doing a great job. It’s always nice to not have to do the back and forth on your end.
I have that exact flooring through out several rooms in the house.. you’ll love it! It’s nice to take care of and doesn’t show every speck of dirt.
