Late night musings

So it looks like Friday Fess Ups are a hit so far. This week’s participants included sh0tgun.net, not-my-muse.org, darth-cena.net, allured.nu, helenchatter.com, kristiegirl.org and herbrokentoy.com. Note: I was going by pingbacks when it came to compiling that list, so if I missed you, please let me know! I’ll be posting the prompt for Friday Fess Ups each Friday at 12:01am.

Dan and I have been teasing each other over two court judges we’d love to do. I shamelessly admit that I would totally bang Judge Alex. Who cares if he’s three years shy of fifty? The man is hotalicious. Dan has his eye on Judge Cristina. From a chick’s point of view… yeah, she’s pretty. I can’t fault him there! Yes… we love court shows. Judge Judy, Judge Alex, Judge Cristina, Judge Joe Brown, etc. I am such a stereotypical housewife. What’s your stereotype?

Poor Ryan isn’t feeling too good. He napped for almost five hours, and when he woke up he felt kind of hot. I changed him, fed him, and then had to go out with him and Alyssa to pick up Dan from work (we ran a few errands this morning and didn’t have time to come back to the house, so I dropped him off). We had to stop at the dreaded Wal-Mart for a few quick things, including a new dress shirt and matching tie for Dan’s upcoming interview (no details yet; I don’t want to jinx anything!!!), baby wipes, body wash and shampoo and conditioner. While we ran around and got everything, including some infant tylenol and pedialyte (just in case… Ryan has never refused to nurse but he’s never been sick before either!), we took turns holding Ryan, because he was not interested in being in the seat of the cart (with my sweater and a blanket to keep him cushioned, comfortable and in place) or laying down in the basket of it (again, with my sweater and a blanket for cushioning). He snuggled with his head under my chin, the chubby fingers of one hand winding around my necklace while the chubby fingers on the other hand were down the front of my shirt. While waiting to check out, he fell asleep in Dan’s arms, head snuggled under his chin, chubby fingers clutching Dan’s name tag tightly. Poor little guy… He’s in bed now, though I’m not sure if he’ll sleep the entire night (but God I hope so!).

I’ve been having a lot of fun on eBay lately. I ordered the letters R, Y, A and N from the Classic Pooh alphabet collection, ten new diaper covers for Alyssa (larger sizes are a pain to find! But thankfully I found one woman who was selling four 35 – 45 lbs. covers for $11 and another woman who was selling six 25 – 50 lbs. covers for $16.50, cheap shipping on both!), a gorillapod, and an SNES controller (we are teh d0rks).

I think I’ll wrap this up with this week’s Friday 5:
1. Have you ever gone skinny-dipping?
Yes. With my husband (then fiance), his brothers and a female friend of mine. But the clothes didn’t come off until we were already in the water. :P

2. When you’re home alone, do you strip down to get comfortable? Do you ever go out without underwear (bra and/or panties) because it’s more comfortable?
At home I’ll strip down to lounge pants and a tank top. I don’t get entirely naked, not even for sleeping – I still keep panties on. And going out? I feel weird without underwear, and with DDDs I wouldn’t be caught dead without a bra.

3. Have you ever/Do you use the bathroom with the door open? Are you comfortable using public facilities?
Most of the time I do, unless we have company over. And yes, I will use public facilities, unless they’re atrocious.

4. When getting intimate with your significant other, lights on or off?
It depends, though most of the time we have the lights off.

5. How comfortable are you with body exposure/nudity of others? Group shower rooms?, topless/nude beaches?, breastfeeding in public?
To the first two (shower room, beaches) – whatever floats your boat, I suppose. And to the last one – well, you should all know the answer to that. ;)

I haven’t gotten a chance yet to do the FFU, so I guess since it’s Saturday that ship has sailed, lol.

I guess my stereotype would be that I worry constantly if I can’t get ahold of Joe. I’ll call like, 583,000 times just for him to be like, “I was pooping.” Luckily he takes it in stride because he knows I’m a little worry wart.

Aww, poor Ryan! I hope he gets to feeling better soon. At least the cuddles are nice :)

My stereotype is I nag. I have to though, or my husband will forget he has a head on his body.. ;)

Hope Ryan feels better. Is he cutting teeth?
