More goodies from PPP

PayPerPost rocks my socks, and for more than one reason. The biggest of course would be the money I am paid from them every single day to blog about products and services. But PPP has some cool stuff too, such as different contests and opps that feature actual prizes. Just last week I snagged an opportunity (this one) that offered me a choice of a themed crib bedding set (valued at $180) and a diaper bag (valued at $30). Despite the lower value, I opted for the diaper bag, as we already have a theme for Ryan’s bedroom (Classic Pooh).

Now PPP is taking things a step further and offering bloggers the ability to freelance a bit more, and advertisers the ability to offer individual bloggers the chance to do posts for them. This new feature is called PPP Direct, and is very easy to understand and work with. Bloggers who are interested in accepting individual offers from advertisers place a special badge on their blogs. This badge, which can be fully customized to integrate with the blogger’s blog, tells potential advertisers that the blogger is hiring themselves out for a specified amount of money per opportunity (the blogger decides how much). If an advertiser decides to hire the blogger, both the advertiser and the blogger communicate and complete the transaction at PayPerPost, who acts as the escrow. This eliminates any problems and miscommunication, and ensures that both sides are satisfied.

The best part? Rather than losing 50% or more to overhead fees, PPP Direct charges a mere 10% fee, 5% of which goes to cover Paypal and credit card processing fees.

For more details, check out the very informative video PPP posted, found here.
