Dyslexia

Learning disorders, such as dyslexia, are more common than I first realized. According to Wikipedia, most researchers agree that an estimated five to nine percent of school-aged children have dyslexia. However, dyslexia is not just about reversing letters and numbers. Nor is it a disorder that causes the affected person to view letters, numbers and other things backwards or upside down. Dyslexia impacts reading and writing abilities (and sometimes processing spoken language and other, non-language difficulties).

The good news is that dyslexia can be overcome, and there are programs and groups that offer Free Help for Dyslexia. Children and even adults struggling with dyslexia can use different methods and tools to do the best they can. dyslexiadecoded.com is a site that offers people afflicted with dyslexia the chance to overcome their problem with a free reading program. This program consists of several courses that are made up of various types of reading and reading exercises. Note that while these courses are free and aimed towards students and even adults that have reading difficulties, the courses are not easy, and people may need several weeks or even several months before they notice an improvement.

Press release is as follows:

Dyslexia? Now there is Free Help

Now there is free online help for people who have dyslexia or simply did not learn to read well while going to school. It is a click-‘n-learn program. Students and adults may learn decoding, basic reading skills, and advanced reading skills all with the click of a mouse.

The program is called ReadingBySix. It provides a systematic approach to helping people defeat dyslexia and related reading problems. You will notice measurable progress from week to week provided participants are active in their studies and do their assignments. The online courses are virtually free when you give a small donation. If you choose not to donate, they are completely free.

Dyslexia is a distinct learning disability characterized by difficulties in decoding individual words. These difficulties may not show up in other cognitive and academic abilities. Dyslexia results from the confusion caused by the brain's inability to associate abstract symbols with abstract ideas. This includes associating letters and words with the sounds they represent. The key to defeating dyslexia is learning to decode English sounds.

You are invited to review the website and take a few of the courses for practice and learn how the program works. Then use it to teach your children or students to read. It can be used for preschool, home school, grade school, or high school. Students, adults, and children can use it. It teaches reading 100% of the time and it's all electronic. If you know of people who need help, please tell them about ReadingBySix: http://www.dyslexiadecoded.com/

  • Cole : also, your second sidebar is broken on the Q&A page, just fyi
  • Cole : Um, did that even work?!
  • Cole : I agree with the comments about the font. I had to copy and paste some of the text into another window just to read it
  • itizhn : ZubqiCPLZysbOuLY Skz
  • Tara : I agree with Stephanie. I think it might be a mistake.
  • Alice : I like the new layout. :3

  • Guest_2909 : LOVE the colors of the new theme ♥
  • Amy : Holy CRAP! I haven't seen a tagboard in years, lol. I love the new layout, but I have to agree on the font. I feel it's a little small.

Jenn As the domain name suggests, my name is Jenn, and I own this blog. I'm 26 years old and married to my one true ♥, Daniel. And while I have two kids (Alyssa is five, and Ryan is three), you won't find "mommy" in my username or email address, nor does my blog revolve around them. I'm a mother, but most importantly I am me, with a passion for love, blogging, reading, and photography. I'm also a busy freelance writer, web designer & SEO goddess, and a blogger relations person for an adult toy company.
