If I had $1,000,000, the first thing I would do is pay off all of our outstanding debt, which includes our mortgage, car, Dan’s student loans, and some other small, miscellaneous debts. I would give my Kia to my mom, take the Hyundai for myself, and then check out exotic cars for sale and find a nice one for Dan.
Then I would set up savings accounts for both Alyssa and Ryan, and deposit $25,000 into each.
Next? House hunting and furnishing! A nice three bedroom, 2.5 bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, office/play room, laundry room, two car garage…
Finally? Maybe a bit of splurging. Just a bit. ;)

I’d buy a house
I’d buy furniture for my house (maybe a nice chesterfield or ottoman)
I’d buy a car (a nice relying ottomobile)
I’d build a tree fort in my yard. (You could help, it wouldn’t be that hard.)
I’d buy you a fur coat (but not a real fur coat that’s cruel)
I’d buy an exotic pet (Like a llama or an emu)
I’d buy a green dress (but not a real green dress, that’s cruel)
I’d buy some art (a Picasso or a Garfunkel)
I’d a monkey (I’ve always wanted a monkey?)
If I Had $1000000
I’d be rich.
One million dollars does not go that far as it use to years ago. Pay of debt, buy house (townhouse, or move far away and buy a house), furnish part of house. Invest rest of the money….
^ An emu? I’d love to have an emu!
Nice house…. give friends & family some… give some to charity… and, invest the rest.
I’d save most of it and use some to travel through all Asia. I know… “slow down”.
I’m just a huge saver of money. That’s why I have a lot in my earnings. It’s hard for me to spend everything. Although I have a nice method because I can still buy myself nice things, but save most of it for whatever might come up.
-Pay off all of our debts (mortgage, cars, bills).
-Fix our pool.
-Would probably have my wedding sooner (We planned it next yr so we could save money)
-Give my mom enough to pay off their bills, vehicles, and maybe to buy a house.
-Set aside some for James to invest (He watches the stock market, but right now we are too broke to invest :rolleyes:)
-Start a daycare.
-Save some for my future/children.
I’d buy a house. We’d have none left after that.
Stupid Silicon Valley and all it’s stupid Start Up Bazillionaires…
Jenn I think Aidan is right. It would be wrong for you to have a million dollars and not purchase a monkey. At least that’s what I’d do and then I’d invest the rest in Kraft Dinners an fancy ketchups.
