Over at livejournal’s breastfeeding community, women moan about how much it sucks to get their periods back after three months, six months, nine months, even twelve and fifteen months.
To that I say: bitch, please!
After I had Alyssa, my period returned at seven weeks postpartum. From then until I got pregnant with Ryan it was irregular. I breastfed for ten months, but did supplement with formula because pumping exclusively did not produce enough milk.
After I had Ryan, my period returned at six weeks postpartum and has been regular as clockwork ever since. This is despite breastfeeding exclusively.
So what gives? :/
(And yes, I have my period… right on schedule!)

Meh, that sucks. That’s why I’m on depo. I haven’t had a period since May. Of course…when I had my colposcopy it irritated my cervix and I bled for a month straight. That was no fun.
Wish I could say I haven’t had a period with depo. The crap makes me inconveniently bleed for weeks. I’m due to get another next month, and I will not be going.
dude I’ve been used to having my period for 3 and more months at a time. Those women should thank their lucky stars! I hope if I get pregnant my period never comes back after I give birth.
Regarding the photoprinter thing? I’ve got the Canon Pixma MP830. Its one of those multi function printer/fax/copy/scan – that just happens to kick ass at photos. I wouldnt recommend Epson
The reason why I had to get the new printer a couple of weeks ago was because the Epson I bought last November? Died. For no reason. Worked one night. There was a power outtage that night – next morning it didn’t work. I checked everything else out on the same power switch and it wasnt a power surge. So I dunno what killed it. And I couldnt find my receipt. Meh. HP and Canon are usually good bets tho – I heard Canon eats ink…we’ll see
btw – i’ve got a project I want to start up later – wanted to talk to you and see if you wanted to be involved in it – its a mommy thing

I’ve known a few women who never got theirs back till about 12 months after their child was born…I hope I’m that lucky lol

As the domain name suggests, my name is Jenn, and I own this blog. I'm 26 years old and married to my one true ♥, Daniel. And while I have two kids (Alyssa is five, and Ryan is three), you won't find "mommy" in my username or email address, nor does my blog revolve around them. I'm a mother, but most importantly I am me, with a passion for love, blogging, reading, and photography. I'm also a busy freelance writer, web designer & SEO goddess.

People really do whine too much. I agree with you.
