If motherhood has taught me anything, it’s that despite logical reasoning, my body will always be affected by the baby lust. Last night, I watched an episode of Birth Day in order to kill time until the season premiere of Nip/Tuck aired, and, oh my god. Pregnancy. Babies. Breastfeeding. Babies. I miss it all. Despite the morning sickness, heartburn, limited wardrobe, pain, the c-section, sore nipples, sleepless nights, and the mess of stretched out flab and stretch marks that makes up my stomach (plus the “roll” from Alyssa and the “pouch” from Ryan, and the nasty flap of skin that hangs over my c-section scar), I miss being pregnant, and I miss babies. Damn maternal instincts. 
Anyway. Nip/Tuck was great, as I expected. I really can’t wait until next Tuesday! Thankfully, this year I won’t be racing home each Tuesday evening and fanatically watching the clock. Last year we didn’t have a DVR. This year we do. So while it is always nice to watch a show right when it first airs, I can relax if for some reason I can’t tune in until later on.
I’m sick of this theme. November is less than twelve hours away, but with getting an early dinner down four kids and then going Trick or Treating, there’s no way under the sun I’ll be able to come up with a decent theme in time. Grr.
Oh yeah – Happy Halloween!
Ughhh I should let you carry my next child for me. I sooooooo want two kids, I always have.. but I would have to decide if I want to do this high-risk, constantly sick, in hospital twice a week ordeal again.. and all of it could lead to having either no baby, or having a very sickly baby.
You should do it for me. I’m not healthy enough!
I can’t wait though.. an EXCUSE to dress up and go trick or treating? HECK YEAH. I haven’t been since I was like.. 8! :D

Awwwwhh cuuuute kids!!! Im so nervous about pregnancy. I don’t want kids anytime soon, want to finish college first, but.. wow. I’m just terribley scared. To be honest, more so about the needles and being in a hospital then anything else. Oh well, one of these days we’ll see!

I have my moments when I want kids…then moments when I don’t! I am sitting here right now, handing out candy…makes me wish I had a little rugrat to take trick or treating!!

I understand about the maternal instinct, I have three and me and my husband trying for number 4. I love babies.
Hey, if you miss babies that much you can EASILY finish out the last 7 weeks of my pregnancy for me and borrow my kids every once in a while. :D lol I’ll so generously let you borrow my girls’!
I missed being pregnant too when I wasn’t…then I got pregnant again…now I’m wishing these last 7 weeks would go quicker because I can’t wait until I’m not pregnant again. lol I just forgot how terrible wonderful pregnancy is!
Aww, you are a Niptuck fan too? I absolutely love that show and the episode was great. I was scared it would suck being that they aren’t in Miami anymore. The show had a slightly different feel, but it was still as great as always. I can’t wait for the next episode!

I hear you, I’m trying to fight it. I’m trying so hard to not want to get pregnant and I think if given the opportunity I’d just stay that way because I’m a glutton.

Alyssa and Ryan looked cute for Halloween. Ryan always seems so happy all the time, at any given moment. Probably helps things out to have such a happy baby around all the time. I know it helps me to have a happy cat around!
