So, how much money is in your checking account? Ours has a whopping $6.12. But then, we didn’t even bother to deposit Dan’s paycheck this week. What was the point? We didn’t feel like waiting three days for the money to clear in order to pay bills, so we paid a lot of things in cash, and sent out a money order for another bill. And after the $300 water heater, full tanks of gas for each car ($50 and $37, ick!), grocery shopping and some Christmas gift shopping, there wasn’t much left to really toss in the account. As far as I’m concerned, it wasn’t worth the trip!
