When I was pregnant, I never really got to enjoy a maternity clothes. That’s because some idiot out there decided that fat pregnant women just get fatter, and need nothing more than a larger clothing size. Um, I’m sorry to burst that person’s delusional little bubble, but that is clearly NOT the case. Fat pregnant women need maternity clothes, just as regular sized women do. I was screwed with both pregnancies. I was stuck wearing the same few pairs of pants that I could get to close, either on their own or with the assistance of thick hair bands, and tent-like shirts, babydoll style shirts, empire shirts and peasant tops.
