Dan and I are in the midst of dealing with very unexpected, upsetting news. Until things are more certain and we have some clear cut answers, I probably won’t say much more about it (except that it has nothing to do with our marriage, the kids or our finances), because there’s no use in getting worked up unnecessarily. Just… keep us in your thoughts, okay?
Aside from working on various writing assignments and freelance writing projects, I haven’t been up to too much lately. I’ve recently been taking on more product reviews for In My Bag, and I have been having an absolute blast with them. A few days ago I received a tub of Shea Radiance’s whipped pomegranate shea butter, which is really awesome stuff (read the review here). And yesterday I got to try out a pair of gorgeous earrings from Casto Creations (read the review here). Okay, I need to go. Dan was in the process of cleaning his keyboard when he accidentally popped out one of the keys. A second key went flying a few seconds later, and as he was going to fetch it he dropped the one he had in his hand. Now the one that went flying is under the entertainment center, so I think I’ll go assist him in recovering the pieces and putting his keyboard back together!

I love those earrings! My mom loves everything dealing with shea butter so I should look into that stuff for her.
I hope it all works out and turns out for the good and not the bad. Dealing with unexpected things really sucks.
I want to do product reviews, but err the company that I thought a lot of people were using to do things like that is not turning out to be reputable. I thought I’d ask around and see if anyone had any experience with them, but yeah I’m pretty lazy.

Well now I feel like a jerk. >_< I didn’t have time to read your latest entry earlier so I just read it. I hope whatever news you and Dan are dealing with works out and it’s nothing too serious. I’ll keep you on my mind and good luck with whatever it is.
