Alyssa and I went to the Strasburg Railroad today. It wasn’t originally on my to-do list today, but my mom was supposed to take my brothers and meet with their father for a visitation there, so I figured I’d tag along and give Alyssa the experience of a train ride. Boy am I glad I wore a sweater and made Alyssa wear her winter coat. The bright sunshine was deceiving, because it was cold as hell a well digger’s ass out there today!
And of course, we no sooner get home and get the kids settled down for naps, when I’m dragged outside again to be cold, because Dan wanted my input on how to hang up some of the Christmas lights (icicle lights, whee!). Brrr… And, I’ll be going out AGAIN, because the four of us are going to Dan’s uncle’s house for the evening, to spend time with everyone in the family and celebrate Dan’s grandfather’s birthday.

That railroad thing looks fun, I want to take Sydney to the Santa one she’d adore it. Our town sucks.

My parents took me on a train ride once at a place like you guys went, and it was really fun.

It was like that here in GA today too….Temperature was a supposed 58-60 today, and the sun was brightly shining. I was dragged out to help with Christmas decorations, and it was so chilly!! Cute photos, as always! I like the second one as well.
Alyssa is growing into quite the beautiful young lady. Seems she can be quite photogenic…when she wants to be. : P Hehe. I have a four year-old cousin that we have to hide the cameras from. Even if you bring out your cellphone she’s wanting her picture and everyone else’s taken. ^_^

Really beautiful pictures! You really know how to use your camera, I just point and shoot with the “automatic settings”. Maybe I should start reading the manual
