I have nothing to blog about

I really have nothing to blog about. Although I could tell you my exasperation with finding a place to put a Christmas tree. We seriously have nowhere to put a Christmas tree. Our house is on the small side, and with Dan’s behemoth computer desk (this), and the large leather recliner my mother gave us last month, I’m starting to eye an empty area near the back door to stick a tall, skinny Christmas tree. Sigh. This really bites!

We did get all of the other decorating done though – white lights, a candle and a red bow in every window, stockings hung along the hutch, red, white and green lights around our lamp post, and icicle lights on our house.

Psst… look who’s finally out and about! I lured him out of our bedroom with a new catnip toy from Dan’s aunt, and he is pissed as hell that I won’t let him back in!

    That’s one angy kitty. :O

We had the same problem finding a place for our christmas tree. We had to completely rearrange our front room three different times before we could make it work. I’m still not happy with where the furniture is. Hopefully you have better luck with your tree and house!

    He does look pissed lol

Good luck in finding a spot for the tree though, we didnt have anywhere for our tree once, so we moved out furniture elsewhere, so it was a little cramp at one corner, just to place our tree lol :hmm:

HA HA! He’s pissed. That’s fabulous.

Our female cat gets like that when we lock her out of our room at night. She HAS to sleep WITH somebody at night and even though Ben doesn’t like her in the room (because of the furniture + claws) I usually sneek her in. If I don’t though, she’ll put her paw under the door and SHAKE the door. Sunday morning it sounded like she threw herself full force at the door at one point.

When I got up and came downstairs she was cuddled up with Cassidy on the couch watchng cartoons and gave me that exact same look! ;)

I have no where to put my tree either. We have an larger couch and two chairs this year, PLUS an electric drum kit right in the middle of our living room. I can’t put it infront of the window because then we can’t see the TV and that just cannot happen haha. I’ll figure something out.

I hope you can find a place to put your tree! My grandmother has a small house too and she always puts one of her living room recliners in her garage for the Christmas season in order to fit a tree. Maybe there is somewhere you can store a less used piece of furniture in order to fit a tree? I’m glad you were able to get some decorating done, though. I should start that.

We got lucky with our tree. The only empty space we have is a spot in from of the air conditioner, but seeing as Christmas Tree season is not one that requires use of the air conditioner… : D

We’re not decorating at all this year. We haven’t done it in a while. I miss putting up lights and a tree, but we don’t have the room for the tree, and my dad just hates putting up the lights. I’m too clumsy to put them up myself.

I know this has nothing to do with your post but what happened to your wishlists? I was looking for the Target one (I bought the Classic Pooh rug when Alyssa was born) and couldn’t find it. Do you not do the wishlists anymore?

We have so many places to put a tree but the only place we actually put it is where it hardly fits xD It’s not even a huge tree… it’s one of those medium size fake ones! I think we might get a new one this year because the lights keep going in certain sections. I saw an advertisement that they have ones now with memory branches… so it takes two seconds to put back together. We have to play for hours just to get it into the right shape xD

Oh to have a lamp post to string lights on! I bet that looks so cute, Jenn. I feel you on the where-to-put-the-tree dilemma. We just rearranged the entire living room to fit ours (fake tree). It looks like a completely different room now. And feels like it. I keep stubbing my toes on things. :)

p.s.- I am totally in love with this snowflake theme! I hope that maybe down the road you’ll consider releasing some for us to use ;)

We don’t have a front window in our living room, which really sucks when putting up a tree. We decided to put it on the opposite side of the living room from the front door, so at least it can be seen if the storm door is open…
