Oodles is a funny word

You know what’s awesome? My hair FINALLY being long enough to put up again!

Also very awesome: Alyssa drawing family portraits!

Outright crazy: Alyssa and Ryan are twenty one months apart, yet Alyssa is only three inches taller and four pounds heavier than Ryan. What gives?

Not so awesome:

All right. Enough slacking from me. I FINALLY have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning to hopefully yank out my impacted wisdom tooth and the other three thankfully NOT impacted wisdom teeth. It’s at 8:30am. I still have a half hour or so worth of work left to take care of, and my beloved Nip/Tuck to watch!

Love Nip/Tuck, I missed last nights episode I’ve been studying for finals ECK! YUCK! I can not wait until they’re over.

Ryan has that “Willya stop that look,” lol

Alyssa delaying bedtime by going “potty” five billion times
Alyssa telling me “I don’t want [whatever I offered her], I want [whatever she can’t have]!”, “Leave me alone!” and “It’s not fair!”

She’s three now right? It doesn’t get any better….at least not at almost 5! I’m holding my breath til 7, that’s when they tell me it gets better.

  4. Your children are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! :) And yay for long hair! Mine is long enough for a scruffy looking ponytail finally, but ugh… Do I ever miss it being long!

My little brother and I are twenty-two months apart, but he’s almost always been bigger than me. When we were Alyssa and Ryan’s age, everyone asked my mom if we were twins because we had the same hair and eye color and were about the same height and weight. Then he surpassed me, and now he’s taller than any of the men in my family and thin as a twig. Whereas I’m a whopping 5’2″ and inherited the Cuban side of the family’s “curse” of curves. Haha. So apparently it’s a common thing.

My hair is also JUST long enough to put up. I still have those annoying strands falling out though, lol. I love your pink sweater. :) It looks like you have an interesting collection of bath products in the background ;)

    Alyssa’s haircut looks so cute!

I love Alyssa’s family portrait! It reminds me of the drawings that I did when I was around three (I would draw on anything that stayed still long enough…).

  9. Nip/Tuck rules! Good luck with your wisdom teeth being taken out. The thought just scares me to death.

  10. Good luck with your wisdom teeth being taken out. I have horrible memories and now a major fear of the dentist due to when my wisdom teeth were removed. I certainly hope you are going to be put to sleep. The traumatic stress that I encountered should never be repeated, or forced upon anyone.

Sascha just turned six and still tries to stall going to bed by going potty 20 times. We have to pretty much tell him he goes potty once then goes to bed, no exceptions. It seems to work most of the time.

I just started potty training Chelsea, and she does the stalling bedtime because “I go pee pee on the potty now!” And when she is done, and I tell her she is done she insists “ALLLLMOOOOOOST!”
