Last night Dan and I finished watching the third season of Nip/Tuck, so we watched last week’s recorded episode of Nip/Tuck, and this Tuesday’s episode as well. Anyway, since the beginning of the fifth season of Nip/Tuck, I kept getting the feeling that somebody was missing from the cast. Tonight, I realized who it was: Connor! You know, Connor, Sean and Julia’s son from the fourth season, the baby boy with the disfigured hands that were partially operated on? Whatever happened to him!? Did the writers of the show neglect to write in some sort of reason as to why Connor hasn’t made any appearances on the show, or did they just forget? This is going to drive me nuts. And that sounds really lame, since this is a FICTIONAL SHOW that I’m so addicted to.
I had a one week follow up with my oral surgeon today. Everything is healing nicely, with no infections or weird issues. I was given a special syringe to squirt warm water or the antibiotic mouthwash into the tooth sockets after meals, and was instructed to not use a straw for another two weeks, since the sucking action could dislodge blood clots or cause other problems (there goes some of the “fun” I had in mind for Dan 
). He asked if I needed a refill on the painkillers. I told him thanks, but no thanks. I last took a Vicodin around 4am Wednesday morning. Since then I’ve been making do with Tylenol every six to eight hours, and would rather not go back to the narcotics. I think I mentioned this before: I don’t get how people ENJOY the fuzzy, drowsy, sluggish side effects of Vicodin.
Anyway. I’m glad things are healing nicely. Considering I have a nice bill of at least $800, but more like $2300 if I’m reading the insurance coverage/deductible/percentage terms right, it’s good to know I won’t incur any additional costs for visits or antibiotics or special treatments.
I’m sleepy. So sleepy. Insomnia kicked in last night, and despite having the intention of going to bed around 4am, I didn’t fall asleep until 8:30am. That sucked. Especially since I was back up a little before 1pm. After my follow up with the oral surgeon I went to the mall to look for presents for my mom, grandfather and brothers, as well as Dan’s youngest brother. I lucked out – I found everything I was looking for at great sale prices, all within an hour and a half. :D We still have a little more shopping (for each other, Ryan, Dan’s sisters and my twelve year old brother), and present wrapping to do, but here is our rather impressive stash of presents so far:

I remember getting my wisdom teeth surgery. I never understood why I couldn’t use a straw. But now. I know.
Honestly, this is the first season I’ve watched it so I didn’t know about him but I know that on shows sometimes that when a character isn’t well recieved, they write them out without saying anything… like the little sister on “Family Matters” years ago.
I had a few of those syringes. They’re fun to play with once you get better. Some people who take Vicodin and other painkillers don’t get those side effects. I know that I don’t. I get a buzz.
They showed Connor for like two seconds on an episode this season, I can’t remember which one, though.. but they’re definitely leaving him out. Like where is he, if he’s not with Julia or Sean?
And I really hope they can get custody of Jena, and get her away from Kimber. Oh em gee.

OMG CONNOR! I had totally forgotten about him. I feel dumb for forgetting, since I LOVE Nip/Tuck, but I hadn’t seen the last season in such a long time. I didn’t really like that storyline too well, to be honest. I do wonder what happened to him though. Maybe the writers will deal with it later.
I think I remember him crying in one episode, and Julia went to calm him down or something. Whatever. Eden, even though she’s a complete and total bitch, is flippin hot. Yay for Eden/Sean.

They never said what happened to her relationship with the man she left with either. I was wondering the same thing about Conner too I, I don’t think they forgot about him, I think they have something big planned to tell us what happened to Connor. They better because I’ll be ticked off. Why give her another child if it’s not going to be there.
