Help me before I explode

Why am I unable to select that setting?!?!

I have set up a profile with MSN. I have added my cell phone number. I have confirmed it by entering in the four digit pin. In my mobile settings area on the MSN/Microsoft/Windows Live/whatever-the-fuck-it-is website my phone number IS showing as confirmed.

Why can’t I select that setting?!?!?! All I want to do is set up my Windows Live Messenger so that messages can be sent to my cell phone in the event that I am not signed on. I WAS ABLE TO DO IT BEFORE (last year), SO WHY WON’T IT WORK NOW?

P.S. Blogging funk, sorry. :(

  1. What does it look like when you click on the mobile settings button up on top?

Do you have the latest version of MSN? If not, update it and if so, maybe try reinstalling it. I had a problem awhile ago getting the folder sharing to work with a friend, come to find out that my MSN was either out of date or just needed to be reinstalled because it worked fine when I reinstalled after formatting my PC :P

Reinstalling worked for me, but then I started having problems again, and I just gave up. MSN is acting up on everyone I know at the moment, could be that, too. I hate MSN. HATE it.

Also, since my host is being an assfuck (pardon my French), I had to buy a new domain and abandon the old one (they didn’t give me my auth key), and my new domain will be http://www.hit-the-emo.net – should register within the week, so if you want, you could update that addy into the link list. :)

I tried to set this up for my cousinon hercomputer about a week ago, same thing. I set mine up right away though. I think MSN just has little fits sometimes. I’d try reinstalling and see if it helps? I”m not too sure.

Wish I could be of some assistance on that one, but I have no idea. For what it’s worth, I’m prone to reinstalling something if it doesn’t work for me the first time. Whatever the problem is hopefully you manage to sort it out soon. :)
