Actually, I do not have the energy required to pull out my camera, take a picture of my haggard face, resize and save it in Photoshop, and then upload it to Flickr. So, suffice to say, I AM TIRED PEOPLE. I have been up since 7:45am, and on the run since a little after 8am. I just got in a half an hour ago. If it weren’t so late in the day, and we didn’t have a car to go and pick up (my mom was borrowing it, I took her home this afternoon in the other car, so now I need to go and collect the first one), I would go and take a nap right now. I swear, I am such a nap happy person. I wasn’t so nap happy until after I had kids. Note: parenthood is exhausting!
Sunday was a busy day. My mom, Alyssa and I went down to Philadelphia to visit with my dad for a few hours. We had lunch at Nifty Fifty’s, and did a lot of catching up over what’s been going on for the past few months.
Last night my ten year old brother came over after school, and spent the night. The kids went nuts with a new playmate, and my living room looked like somebody barfed toys all over it.
On a related note, who needs expensive toys when a simple container on wheels will amuse and occupy little kids for hours?

I hope you managed to get some sleep!
Aw that photo is priceless! Alyssa looks so mischevious! I hope you don’t have stairs at your house… o.O
Wow that food looks good @ the restaurant.
So do you find that even after you open Christmas presents or any presents that they are as amused with the packaging? That’s how it is around here!
Hey! One of those Nifty Fifty’s is riiiiight down the street from Mike’s house. We pass it all the time! Small world. Well, kind of.
Haha, sometimes the most simple and inexpensive things will lend kids hours of play.
