Please help Angela

I met Angela many years ago — before getting married, before having kids, even before moving to Pittsburgh. While we may not speak regularly on instant messengers or comment religiously on each other’s blogs, we do keep tabs on one another. Angela has been a very supportive, encouraging person throughout the entire time I have known her, and now I’m turning to those that read my blog in the hopes that you can help me support her through a very hard time.

Around Thanksgiving of this past year (2007), Angela’s father suffered from a stroke (or possibly a series of strokes), and has been in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation ever since. Because of his decline in mental and physical health, he has not been able to provide for his family — Angela and her brother. Currently Angela and her fiance are struggling to battle the horrible circumstances that have come about from her father having his stroke and having so many subsequent problems. They’re out of money, options, and quickly running out of the remainder of their hope and optimism for their current situation.

Please, take my word on it when I say that Angela is a wonderful person who is undeserving of the hand that has been dealt her, and that she has been doing everything she can and still isn’t making ends meet. Visit her blog and consider using the donate button located at the top of her sidebar to help her and her family out. The more people that can help means the better quality of life that Angela and her family can have while her father recovers. And by better quality of life I mean the basic needs such as paid bills and purchased groceries that you and I so often take for granted.

Your blog reminded me of one of those infomercials on TV to save the kids. However, I just donated a dollar. Would have been more but that’s all I have in Paypal and I’m dead ass broke myself.
