So my new printer is a real beast of a printer. We’re talking over two feet wide, a foot and a half in depth and eighteen inches in height. That is a big printer! When I first got it, I set up an extra small bookcase we had in the closet. But it really cluttered up our living room. So… after debating on whether I should just stick the printer in the bedroom somewhere, I got the brilliant idea to put it up on the top shelf of my computer tower. It just fit. Problem solved.
Until Kirin made like he was going to jump on top of the printer last night. Not such a big deal… if he landed on the printer itself, which was firmly planted on the top shelf of my computer tower. But if he landed on the paper tray, which hangs over the edge of my desk… I could just see the printer come tumbling down, smash my head in, and definitely get damaged or broken altogether in the process.
I went out today with the goal of buying double sided super strong velcro in mind. I came back with bungee cords instead. Go me. :D
