I hate cold, rainy and raw days such as how today turned out to be. No matter what, I can’t seem to get warm. The thermostat could be cranked to eighty degrees and you’d still find me huddled in a hoodie, bitching about the cold making my fingers shrink, which in turn makes it hard to do simple tasks and causes my rings to slip off left and right.
Alyssa and I went out this afternoon to run a few errands, and she promptly jumped into five different puddles between our front door and the car. Silly girl. What is it with kids and puddles??
I’ve been busy on Lavish and the new photography board I mentioned last night, Photogenic. I’m loving it. If you’re into digital photography, whether you’re a n00b or an expert or something in between, please join!
I seriously want to cry at the gas prices right now. $3.14 at the gas station a few miles down the road, and $3.11 at the gas station that’s about eight miles from here. Between filling up my near empty car, and the Hyundai, which had about a quarter of a tank, I dropped $65 today between the two gas stations. Le sigh. Just five years ago the gas prices were less than half of what they are now.
See?
What the fuck does that mean for the gas prices five years from NOW?!

i remember when i first got my car i could fill up the 40 litre tank for like… $30 on a good day (australian dollars, heh). now it’s almost double that… painful! i’m glad i don’t drive much. my parents have dual-fuel cars which helps out a bit because gas is cheaper than petrol.
thank you so much for the plug :D
Kids and puddles are like … Women and chocolate. Its just illogical to think it won’t happen :o
You guys have it easy compared to most other countries with gas prices.
We’re paying $1.74NZD for a LITRE. There are close to 4 (3.7) litres in a gallon, so that’s $6.96ish NZD or $5.68 USD.
Wanna swap!? Hehe.
Our gas price is $3.15 and $3.19. now that’s A LOT! lolAnd Today was windy, rainy and cold plus it snowed later tonight and now the kids have no school. I think they took pictures because my 12 yr old wanted my camera. I’ll have to upload some if they did.
When I started to drive gas was .98 cents a gallon. That scares me!
I refuse to look at our gas prices. They make me sad, incredibly sad.
man, 3.14 is LOW here, right now cheap gas is about 3.39 here in Seattle.
I love living in Philly after reading this. It’s only $3.03-$3.05 here!
I’m exactly the same, I’m always freezing.
I think all kids are fascinated with puddles at some point, they like it because it splashes and it’s just fun for them
It’s actually fun for us as well when you let go, I always jump in puddles with my 2 year old cousin.
Petrol prices are absolutely crazy right now, when will they hurry up and make cars that run off water???
I could not imagine having to pay that per gallon. I’m lucky New Jersey prices are still relatively low (the gas station I stop at, which is currently the cheapest, is $2.89 and I cringe at that). As a new driver, paying that much is just crazy. Tis why I avoid driving.
I love when little kids splash in puddles. I’m 17 and I splash in them with my little sister (14 months) all the time
I passed by a gas station today that listed its price at $3.41!! Thankfully, that’s on the high end over here, and I can find gas that is ten or fifteen cents cheaper usually. I think five years from now, if prices continue to go up, everyone will either walk or bike everywhere, and take public transportation. At least that is what I will be doing :). Ohh, and in relation to your other post- I loveeee those little baby leg thingys! Soo cute on Ryan, makes me want to pinch his chubby little legs .
Ugh, it makes me so glad that now I only have to rely on public transportation, and I don’t have to worry about gas prices anymore. Although, now I have to worry about metrocard fares going up. Alas…
It’s not any better down here in Delaware, unfortunately. It’s hovering around the same price.
Sick of the cold weather too. Ready for the warmth. Where’s the Sun, and why doesn’t it do its job, when we need/want it most?
Gas is on avg about $3.06 around here.
