So… whether I want to accept it or not, Ryan is turning two in five months! We plan on having a birthday party just as we do every other year. My family and Dan’s family will be invited, obviously, and Danielle and her husband Matt are more than welcome to come stay with us again. Lisa too, if she can get her sled dog team harnessed in time. ;)
Anyway, I’m already thinking about a birthday theme! Last year we did Classic Pooh. Likewise, we used Winnie the Pooh for Alyssa’s birthday (then Blue’s Clues for her second, and a butterfly theme for her third). But I need to focus on a theme for Ryan. I was thinking a cute frog or turtle theme, or perhaps bees? We did used to call him Ry-bee, before bee got turned into bean.
Whatever theme we choose, I plan on having one picked up by May, so that I can then work on getting birthday invitations out in the mail. I want to use photo cards this year for birthday invitations! I’ll have the cards themselves themed, of course, and have a photo of Ryan somewhere on the card.

Do a polka dot theme, then you could pick whatever colours you liked.
