Ding, dong, the witch is dead

I’m sure some of my visitors were singing that. Anyway, jenn.nu isn’t dead. Neither is kitty.nu, lavish.nu, xoxo.nu, nor are any of the countless other .nu domains (off the top of my head: allured.nu, lovestoned.nu and trashed.nu). I don’t know what the heck happened, but I do know that my sites were working when I went to bed around 4am! Then today Aidan and Sarah messaged me about my sites being down, so I checked, and got the ugly default nunames.nu registered message. I’m very glad they did, because I hadn’t checked my sites. Also, when I logged into my domain registrar, I saw that two of my .nu domains had their nameservers reverted back to default ones. Odd. Anyone know what’s going on?

You know what else is strange? I haven’t been able to access my .nu domains all day… yet here I am on my laptop, and I can access them here.

Today… Dan told me around 5am that his brothers would be coming over for lunch, so I ran out to the bank, to the gas station and then to the grocery store for grub. We had fried chicken (I bought boneless and skinless chicken breast strips, and Dan made a frying batter out of oatmeal and potato flakes and some other stuff), mashed potatoes, corn and biscuits. A little heavy for a lunch, but I knew Dan’s brothers, who live together in an apartment and 1) are guys and 2) are busy with work and school, would appreciate the cooked meal.

Um. Wow. It’s incredibly windy out right now! Today’s weather has been weird, and a mix of just about everything except snow!

good versus evil

All of your sites and other .nu domains have been working for me. I wonder what the deal is. I hope it gets sorted out for you all soon. =]

  2. I can view your site now, this really is odd. I do hope your able to view your own sites on your desktop soon…. I am still baffled that the name servers changed themselves… so strange. I hope it was some .nu issue and nothing to do with anything else crazy!

Ugh. The same thing happened to my .nu website. o_O Which caused panic with my mom considering she uses an email account with that domain for her work email and she hadn’t been able to check it all day.

  4. Hmm, that’s really strange about the .nu thing, I’m glad everything is fixed now though. I also agree with Amanda, I’d love your weather now!

I have no idea what happened. I tried doing a google search yesterday, but I couldn’t find any news stories about it. I did see someone’s site that was .nu that was working, but just one. I started putting in random urls like happy.nu, lol. They seem to be working now though. Weird…

I was so worried yesterday. I’m glad to find out it was just a problem with .nu names and nothing happened to Lavish or your site!
