I’m forever inspired and in love with a lot of the macro photography I see on Flickr. In particular I love Teresa’s nature shots. The girl has got a knack for her camera, that’s for sure! Since so many of my photos are of myself, Alyssa, Ryan, Dan, and the cats, I’m trying to experiment more with scenery and nature.
Yesterday, right as we were about to leave the playground, I spotted a few tiny pine cones on the ground. Some were attached to branches, others looked rather lonely all by themselves, with nothing to hang on to. Heh. Alyssa ran ahead and got in the car, so I pulled out my camera, switched from the telephoto lens to the 18mm-55mm, and snapped the following shots. No flash, manual focus (I am awesome; I’m finally working more with manual focus!).
With the exception of being opened in Adobe Photoshop CS for cropping, these photos are 100% unedited. No processing whatsoever!
P.S. I really like the baby bedding at babybox.com. Anyone need an expensive baby shower gift? Heh.

Those do look quite nice. I can’t wait until I can afford a good digital SLR!
