I suck for not having anything interesting to blog about. But I’m trying to get back in the habit of blogging every day, so I’ll run with this entry and see how it goes.
The weekend was great, because for once I was caught up on all of my work from the last week, so I had absolutely nothing to do and all day to do it in on Saturday and Sunday. The downtime was shattered last night when a bunch of drama from Lavish exploded around 10pm-ish, and my browser and desktop were overrun with tabs and messages on both AIM and MSN. Whew. But I got on things quickly, so hopefully that’ll be the end of that…
The winner of the iTunes gift card contest has been announced at kitty.nu: iTunes gift card winner! Check it out, and maybe congratulate the winner.
My dad turned 55 on April 10th, and my mom turns 50 on April 26. My parents are getting old.
Dan will be turning 26 on April 27th. He’s getting up there, too. I joked that I’ll buy him some Depends and Viagra, and I’ll bake my mom a birthday cake and give it black icing and wheelchair decorations.
Ryan sat still today for a few minutes of photos, something he hasn’t done in months. If he’s anything like Alyssa, he won’t cooperate for the camera until he’s at least three. Sigh. I’ll have to content myself with random shots from a distance, and up-close ones that are either blurred or are captures of his hair or back as he’s turning and/or running away from me.

I know what you mean about running out of blogging topics. I’ve had the same problem lately too. *racks brain*

Lol, compared with mine, your parents are still relatively young! My dad is 61 and my mum is 60. Yup. They were 41/40 when I was adopted.
I think those photos of Ryan are adorable, especially the second one of only the top of his face.
Do you do scrapbooking?
 But the drama!
I love the photos of Ryan. The colors and expressions. They will be something for them to look at years from now. And they won’t be blurry like all my childhood photos :D
Aw, the second one of Ryan is absolutely adorable.
Drama, the things I miss out on… Yes, No, Maybe, Agree, Disagree …
My Mom is 56, and my dad when he died was 51 (would be 58 if he was still alive) Time flies. People get older. Look where we are and what we’ve been though…
Those two pictures of Ryan are definitely my favorite ones out of all of them you posted on Lavish. The second one being my absolute favorite. :] He is such a cute pie. My mom is 41 and my dad is 38. I’ve always had the youngest parents out of all of my friends.
I love that second photo of Ryan…It’s too cute!!! And I wasn’t around for most of the drama breakout at Lavish, but I did read through the thread…Wish I had voted differently for karma now…
My parents are both in their 50′s too.
Also, 26, that is no age, no age at all! I need to keep telling myself that. ;)
Those are really great photos, by the way.
My parents are so old compared to yours. o_O My dad is going to be 75 this year in December and my mom will be 70 in June.
Compared to Leon’s parents, my parents are so young! Plus, Leon’s parents are already grandparents.
I love those pictures of Ryan. They’re so crisp and just gorgeous.
