Between Alyssa being sick and then me running errands and trying to get work done, and then all of us getting sick, I forgot to post these photos from the park on Sunday.
I need ideas for more places to take the kids to. I really want to find some petting zoos in the area, but so far have only found one. There are a few on some Amish farms, but I really don’t feel like dragging around in an overpriced tourist trap filled with people who refuse to pass the Amish buggies on the road because they’re too busy staring at them.
Then there’s the Philly zoo, and the NJ aquarium, and the Jersey shore, all of which I’m hoping we get to this summer!

If you find anything for the kiddos in the area, please let me know! I’ve been in need of things to do with Ab + Liam. And also, you should definitely bring the kids to the Aquarium and the shore! They’ll love it! Maybe we could even get the kids together sometime ;)
If you’re heading down the Jersey shore/SJ area, there’s…
Moorestown Day, it’s probably a bit far from you, but it’s on June 7 and there’s always a TON of crafters, entertainment, performers, face painting, and all that stuff for the kids. And it’s on Main Street, where there’s an overabundance of great places to eat.
Morey’s Pier down in Wildwood – amusement rides and a waterpark
The Cape May Zoo
Atlantic City Aquarium
Warner Brothers studio thing on the boardwalk in AC
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum in AC
Gillian’s Wonderland Pier in Ocean City – it has quite a few kiddie rides
Plus, there’s a bunch of lighthouses that allow visitors to go inside and up to the top; there’s a lighthouse in Cape May that I know still does tours
StoryBook Land – I think it’s in Egg Harbor, I know it’s far because it was a hike for us and we live in SJ, but when I was a kid the trip was totally worth it
There’s also stables down in Egg Harbor where the kids can go horseback riding, though Ryan is probably too young; we actually sold one of our horses to that place, they’re really good with kids. And they have ponies!
Our libraries usually have small events and weekly reading gatherings. I take my kids to the library all the time and they LOVE it. Never too early to start with the reading stuff!!
You may want to just check out the library in general because they usually post up event fliers, etc.
Six Flags is at the Jersey shore, and so am I!
