I have been up since 8am. My alarm was set for 9am, which was bad enough since I didn’t go to bed until almost 3am (I was up late doing work, and then Dan talked me into watching most of a movie I really, really hate, Jacob’s Ladder). It was Ryan that woke me at 8am. I was dreaming about… something… and heard him crying in my dream. So I woke up, heh. Stumbled out of bed, went and checked on him. He had thrown up all over his dinner from the night before. I’m thinking that the milk he had swiped from Alyssa upset his stomach, because we were really careful with giving him tiny bits of unsweetened juice and rice cakes late yesterday morning and early yesterday afternoon, and he was okay with all of that and the dinner he had (chicken noodle soup).
I mentioned my intense dislike of vomit, right? Just knowing there’s vomit in the same room with me is enough to send me running for the nearest trash can or toilet. I was so tempted to wake up Dan and beg him to clean up the mess, but he had to work, and was still recovering from being violently ill yesterday morning and afternoon (by late last night he was tired, achy and feverish, but over the vomiting and other unpleasant things), so I sucked it up and pulled Ryan out of his playpen (we’ve been keeping him in there for naps and bed time to contain the mess), cleaned him up and put fresh clothes on him. Then I reached down into the playpen and gathered up the pillow, blankets and stuffed animals, and shoved everything into the washer. Two cycles, hot water, pre-wash and extra-rinse, and everything is once again nice and clean.
My brother is turning thirteen on July 1st. I’m trying to find a good birthday present for him. I’m not doing video games, and I did a gift card at Christmas. He’s showing some interest in sports, basketball in particular, so I was looking at the Michael Jordan clothes at sidelineapparel.com. I’m not totally decided on those, though, because he has a lot of clothes. Ugh. Boys are a pain in the ass to buy for, you know?
With all of the running around we’ve been doing lately, and me being extremely busy with working, and then all of us being slacked, I slacked on over a week’s worth of 365 and Project 365 photos. Here are some of my favorites:

Yuck I hate vomit sooo much. When Jeremiah gets sick, I can’t handle it. THEN, when he drinks too much and pukes, I get pissed because it grosses me out so badly, and it’s for a STUPID reason.
Hey, and if you really want a batch of cookies let me know, I can make what you want. WHAT DO YOU WANT? :D
Wow hope you guys feel better soon! I love your photos! So pretty!
Man, I hope all of this end soon for you guys.
I really like the picture of you with the flower in your hair.

Thirteen is a rough age, gift wise. How about a super soaker water gun, with a huge water supply? Or the Erector Deluxe Radio Control Tuner Car from http://www.shopdiscovery.com? I think the erector car set would be cool, because he’ll learn something and then be able to play with it lol?
