Alyssa is on a Hello Kitty kick right now. She wants Hello Kitty everything. It started with a pair of Hello Kitty socks I bought for her last month (she wears them at least once a week, despite having over two dozen pairs of socks in various colors and patterns), and then with a Hello Kitty DVD I bought a few weeks ago. Now, everything she can think of, she wants in Hello Kitty. She is pretty set with a Hello Kitty t-shirt, necklace (from my mom) and sunglasses. Not pictured: Hello Kitty underwear and the ever present Hello Kitty socks.
But in addition to want, want, want, the girl is also getting smart! A week ago, she comes up to me, and the following exchange happens:
Alyssa: Mommy, I can’t find my Hello Kitty doll!
Me: Your Hello Kitty doll…?
Alyssa: Yes! I looked ev-wee-where! Under the bed, in the clowset, in Bean’s room, in Mommy and Daddy’s room, and in my toys. I can’t find it!
*mischievous smile on her face*
Alyssa: I know! Great idea! Hello Kitty doll is at THE TOY STORE! Let’s go there and get it!
She then practiced her wiles on Dan (who, of course, came to me and said we should go buy her one, heh), and the next day on my mother.
Apparently these Hello Kitty dolls aren’t that easy to find. I found other Hello Kitty stuff at Target, but no dolls. My mom didn’t see Hello Kitty anything at Wal-mart. I guess I’ll have to check Toys ‘r Us? Or good ol’ eBay. eBay has everything!
Lately… I’ve been SO busy. 
When work is kicking my ass and taking names, the little bits of free time I do have are sucked up by Dan or my mom or some other unexpected thing. Bowling, parties, going out, errands, appointments, playing Mom #2 to my brothers, taking my mom to medical appointments, and so on and so forth.
I’m due for my period any day now, so on top of feeling pressured and stressed, I’m also really irritable. I’m ready to Freak Out. So far, Friday is looking pretty clear, and dear God I hope it stays that way, because otherwise there’s going to be bloodshed by the end of the day. 
eBay has Hello Kitty EVERYTHING trust me. ;) That’s where I buy all of my Hello Kitty stuff.
my friend used to be an avid hello kitty collector. i can ask if she has anything she wants to give away? she gave addison a hello kitty doll a few months ago. and she freaking is attached to that thing. i know she is always tossing out stuff.
i think they come with crack :P.
do you have a hello kitty store around there? they are pricey. also, check out the $1 bins at target. i think i have seen hello kitty stuff in there recently, maybe.
Awwww, I thought it was kind of cute how she worked around asking for the doll. :biggrin: I would think that Toys R Us would have some though. If you want to get her hooked on something that has easy-to-find toys, Care Bears stuffies are available like everywhere.
I love Hello Kitty and yes, Ebay totally rocks in finding kitty stuff.
At our Wal-Mart they have Hello Kitty dolls. Well, not DOLLS but stuffed ones. Does that count? lol

You might have to take a trip to Build-a-Bear. That’s where I got my first Hello Kitty plushie.

That is so clever. Chelsea is very blunt when she wants something. Like the other day she comes up to me and says “I want make up. You go store and buy me some”
Your best bet for finding a hello kitty doll is probably eBay. Thats where I would look.
Have you looked on Sanrio’s website? They have A LOT of stuff for Hello Kitty and other various characters (Chococat!!!)

i stopped by to find out if they had giraffes coming in & they told me about the hello kitty one.
Aww! Wow! She is so clever–I couldn’t ever pull off something that witty, LOL. :D I hope she gets her Hello Kitty doll, too! I know they have some adorable ones at the Sanrio store (so totally went there the other day :)). Have you checked there?
