Tired. Sunburned (bad; it fucking hurts
). Off to play GTA4 and finish going through all 5.2GB worth of photos from yesterday’s (awesome! fun! exhausting!) trip to the zoo.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend!

I know what you mean about be exhausted! I went to the Indy Zoo a couple years ago and we stayed for 5 hours. :uhm: Anywho, I have a question for you. What size of mm lens did you use at the zoo with your nikon? My family an I are thinking about going back to the Indy Zoo in August an I was tempted to purchase a camera with a 18-55mm lens which zooms in to about 9 feet. I was discussing it with my dad saying that I don’t think 9 feet is enough, maybe I need a bigger lens so that is why I asked you since you just went to the zoo.
Awww I hate it when you check that you have everything about 17 times and then find out you don’t have everything when you get there. I hope your sunburn stops hurting soon!!
Can’t wait to see the photo’s, I bet Alyssa had a blast!
Kim, I think I used the 18mm-55mm for maybe five shots? That was it. The rest of the time I used the 55mm-200mm lens. I needed it, because a lot of the animals weren’t near the front of their enclosures, and I knew that an 18mm-55mm would never be able to get the shot clearly.
So… I definitely suggest using a 55mm-200mm or other telephoto lens to get the shot!
