Danielle and Matt arrived around 9pm. Currently the three of us are in my living room, watching TV and using our computers. We’re such nerds. ;)
Anyway, the house is all ready for tomorrow. Yay! Decorations are up (thanks for the help Matt!), presents are wrapped (heh, thanks again Matt!), and the table is set with all of the party gear. All I have to do tomorrow is head to the store around noon to pick up the balloons, birthday cake and party platter. Oh, and I have to go back to Target to pick up my $13 conditioner and $4 worth of soup that the dumb cashier gave to the person behind us, but that shouldn’t take very long.
I know I should be following Daniel’s and the doctor’s advice to “get a good night sleep”, but considering how anxious, scared and excited I am it’s kind of hard to. I’m tired, I really am, but I know if I laid down now there’s no way I’d fall asleep. Ah well. I figure once Daniel and I are settled in after the c-section and have had time to bond with Ryan I can attempt to sleep for a bit.
So my bags are packed. Ryan’s diaper bag is packed. The laptop and iPod will be getting packed up soon. Now to try and relax… and get some sleep. It’s going to be a hectic and tiresome morning, as we are scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 6:30am, and the c-section is scheduled for 8:30am. But it’ll be over before we know it, and Ryan will be here!
That was exactly two years ago. In less than ten hours my little guy is going to be two! I can’t believe it!

Happy early birthday Ryan!
